That's absolutely ridiculous it was so far off. Don't they check these things? I guess I never bought a NIB machine but if mine comes with all sorts of problems I'll be pretty irritated.

Is the new PIC coming the version 2 one?

For other newbies like me, when it comes to changing the PIC I found it much easier to do while removing the board and doing on a table rather than doing it while in the machine. Maybe it was just me but you are talking 40 pins that have to be perfectly lined up. A tried a few times doing it while the board was in the machine and I bent some legs trying. On the table I popped it in easily.

Maybe another stupid question, if you have PIC 2 can you adjust your coil strength or will that come in a downloadable update?

Want to do the bend fix to take care of the launch problems. Been scouring the owner thread looking where everyone was discussing the “speed bump” but I can’t find it. Mine has a slight bend already. Are we suppose to bend this the opposite way to flatten it?

Tried faxing my warranty...didn’t go through.
Tried emailing my warranty (a pic)... didn’t go through.

Looks like I’ll have to do it the old fashion way and actually go to the post office. Anyone have luck the other methods?
