Quoted from rubberducks:

I don't see why. Some of them will have had an MMr for at least 2 and a half years by the time any further production begins at CGC ... and closing on 3 years seems like substantial enough time for model revision / pricing change en lieu of scale and not having to pay a CM. Last run of Stern build ones was a while ago, too.

MMR won't drop in price, costs more to build 250 or 500 at a time than 1000
Same happened with woz 75th games went up in price.

Quoted from rubberducks:

If a revision comes out with the larger screen and better than Stern build quality / QC, I expect they'll sell more than 1000 without too much difficulty.

Yes and that option will be more expensive, MM is a much more expensive game to build than AFM

Yes and maybe the GBP will be stronger than the US dollar next year
$1,000 flights to mars by years end

Its a good dream

Quoted from Iceman5000:

There has only been 1500 total MMr's to date.
1000LE's, 500 standards.

And at least 10 samples

Quoted from cooked71:

Because the IP for the game itself would have come from Wayne to PPS, but no rights Bally/Williams logos etc.
This new AFM incarnation is so different though, it doesnt really need the logo. It will never appease the "purist" collector with all its enhancements, so not much point in using it at all. And the people buying it just want an AFM with all the bling and couldnt really care less whether its Stern, Bally, or CGC.

PPS can put 100 bally logos on it if they wanted to.

Better to be different so it doesn't confuse the public between original and remake

Quoted from AUKraut:

Wow!!! Nice looking AFMr......wait.....there is a Bally Logo allowed on AFMr and Williams was NOT allowed on MMr?????

Because bally is owned by cesars entertainment and licensed by Williams, williams didn't want Williams used on remakes, it would confuse shareholders and general public. As Williams was still in business

You are correct

Mmr is a harder and more costly game to manufacture and even more expensive in smaller numbers.

AFM is being made in larger qty's and have less complicated parts, mmr standard is the same price as afmle

Quoted from john17a:

That being the case if and or when MB is run what will the pricing be like

More expensive as its a licensed theme from universal studios

Quoted from flynnibus:

Meh... the big red flags were not how they dealt with customers, but how they sourced and primed Stern to do assembly. It really read like amauters feeding the pros.. and the pros wouldn't compromise their process.. hence a lot of the delays start/stops. Never mind the software aborts and timelines. Now, to see them ramp up a line (with what should be largely new help..) is polar opposite. Either Stern was dicking them around.. or something significant changed in the project management side in CGC.

Stern was dicking them around!!!
