Quoted from lash:what is the best Installation for strobe Light to become it on the original afm?
If you have the latest software in your game. In the CGC menu, you can turn the LED strobe brighter than the original.

Love it.
Thanks for the laugh.

I had it all the way up for one game only.
I thought i had burned my eyes and had thoughts that I was going to have a seizure during strobe MB.
I would say its plenty bright
I agree, much brighter than an original with a new xenon bulb, but without the plastic warping heat.
Quoted from frankmac:Congrats I love this pin!
Thanks I know you just got one too (we are only about 40 minutes away from each other!)
Did you put cliffy or other protectors on yet? My cliffys arrive tomorrow.

I did not put protectors on, I probably should. Congrats again!

Go into the CGC menu ( not the Williams menu ) first page has software info, check if yours says 1.0.0.
Once in the CGC menu, every time you hit the escape button, you advance one page. The 5th one has the strobe on it.
To get into the CGC menu, hold the ESCAPE button down five seconds or more and the game goes into it.

Hoping that CGC are on track to re-commence AFMr LE's from next week... especially the overseas orders!
Wow…how quickly time travels…the Pinball Expo is next week. For those that plan on attending, CGC will have its own booth. Several MMR’s and AFM’s will be on hand to play as well as some of our great video game standards such as Arcade Legends and Ms Pac Man / Galaga. Please come by the booth and say hello to me.
Last week I attended the EAS show in Berlin Germany. What an amazing city. There were nearly 12,000 trades people from all over Europe in attendance. CGC did quite well in raising our awareness among the operating community at this show. A few of our dealers were at the booth helping me with all of the various spoken languages. Next year this show will be in Amsterdam, can't wait.
Update:
1. MMR’s will be winding down in production with the next several business days. I am pleased that so many that had been waiting for so long to get their game are finally receiving them. Some of our dealers have also taken stock in preparation of the holiday buying season.
2. Sub-assemblies for AFMR will be started at the end of his week. Sub-assemblies are typically the long pole in the tent and require the greatest amount of time to build. I will have a better understanding as when full AFMR production will resume by the end of next week.
3. We have several overseas containers that will be built out first. Following we will return to North American production.
4. There are no plans to sell the LE topper separately. The topper will be held to only those that buy LE’s We are looking at the possibility offering the mini saucer LED as an upgrade, but this will not be for several months.
5. If you are having technical difficulties or have some questions, please start by simply opening a ticket on our service portal. As many will attest, we respond very quickly to the tickets. chicagogamingcompany.freshdesk.com
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work ourselves out of this load of back orders.
Best Regards,
Doug

The mini-saucers are fantastic! These are why I bought the LE, even more than the topper, which I had to modify slightly & disable the jump action to fit in my low-ceiling basement. I had thought to fabricate my own simple topper using mini-saucers. This will be a nice option.
Quoted from YZRider926:Doug, will this be the last run of MMR? The 500 total, not just this batch or the next. Thanks.
I noticed my play field was 1,7xx out of 2000. If I remember correctly. Of course that could just refer to a run of play fields... I have to assume if they keep selling they will keep making them as long as the license doesn't end.

My assumption as well, but figured I would ask. I know they'll move on to game 3 next year. Figure they'll do what stern is doing and run small batches when demand is there.
Great update....really appreciate the regular, organized and straightforward communications. Communication and service are huge for me and you are hitting it out of the park. You were (getting an AFMrLE) and will be going forward my first consideration for buying a nib as a result. Cheers!
I know it has been asked but will MMr owners be given the option to upgrade to the new large (AFMr style) color display?
Quoted from Concretehardt:I know it has been asked but will MMr owners be given the option to upgrade to the new large (AFMr style) color display?
It was mentioned awhile back that they would look into it. Said it was complicated, but they were going to look into it/planned on releasing it at some point I believe.
Will MMr production continue down the road to match demand? It is on my list as a pin to own someday. Just curious how CGC will handle production of these pins as more and more remakes are launched.

Get while the getting is good. Although there does seem to be a robust secondary market (that's how I got mine).

I'm totally in on a mini saucer LED upgrade for my SE if offered. I'm sure most all SE owners would feel the same way. Due to ceiling height restriction I couldn't go with the LE version but would upgrade the mini's in a heartbeat.

w00t!!
Quoted from Marcdaddy:I'm so glad I got my MMR and AFMR Le this year from CGC, money put away for the next 2 remakes... please be CC and MB
Me too. You know when CGC releases a new game they will be....
Sort of happy for you guys over there and sort of not
I'm 2 hours away from CGC and still waiting on my LE...
Quoted from CGC_DougS:Hello,
1. Things are now moving smoothly on MMR’s and first games will start shipping early part of this week. With the holiday weekend last week and a few snags on the line, we are back on track. Starting today, they will start boxing games. Many have already been built waiting on final QC.
2. We have had a few requests in sharing the green color specs for what we call Martian Green. Remember...this is not a liquid paint, but rather it is a powder. For those that want to go nuts painting other items: DuPont / AXALTA RAL6037
3. I need to remind everyone that we do not have access to our dealers orders and schedules. If you are seeking knowledge on when you will be receiving your game, I simply cannot be of any help. Please be sure contact your dealer.
4. Reminder: If you have a question about service or an individual part, please simply open a ticket on our service portal. https://chicagogamingcompany.freshdesk.com As most of you will attest, we are very responsive in resolving tickets quickly.
Our prayers go out to our friends in Florida, surrounding states and islands. We hope you all pull through the storm safely.
Doug Skor

Pff! I'm 35 miles from CGC and waiting!
Doug - Just wanted to say thank you to you and the efforts of CGC! I just unboxed my AFM SE and am so very impressed with the quality and attention to detail. Absolutely stunning game.
I would love to be able to add the mini-saucer lights to my SE, so another vote to please make them available. Us SE owners would greatly appreciate the opportunity to add those to our games. Thx again and I am ready for game #3 already! Thx. Chris

So after a month and a half I finally broke down and made some space and unpacked my LE. HO-LEE-COW! What a pretty machine. The mini saucer LEDs and the mirror blades added more than I expected. Even my wife was very impressed and she's only slightly into pinball (she plays TAF but that's about it). I'm totally not a topper guy but the topper really knocks it out of the park on this game. Well done CGC.
(disclaimer, for those thinking I'm insane to wait a month and a half I have an SE on location and got my AFMR fix on that machine)
Paid for AFMrLE. Anyone know when it’s getting to Australia? These good reviews are making the wait endless.

He couldn't have been nicer and I'm grateful that people like him still exist in this world! I can't wait for future remakes and will be a dedicated customer to the end.
