Quoted from EricHadley:I HATE mirror blades. They get scratched up and when you remove them they ruin the cabinet.
I have a set of these and use them on all my pins. No damage caused when lifting playfield... mirror blades, artistic blades, you name it.
Quoted from jgentry:So a few months caused you to lose interest in something that you claim is you grail?
Quoted from Flowst:That said....$9,000 sitting in the bank....waiting for any news or a release date gets a bit difficult after awhile.
Quoted from Only_Pinball:It's crazy that it's now been 89 days since we first learned of the delay!
I was just thinking the same thing... before the post a few above, talking about shipping in July and sounding like insider information, I was starting to think you should rename the thread “CGC Game #3 Cancelled All Together”
Quoted from Mr68:Here's a couple of quotes from TWIP who reached out to CGC.
--“…we are very close to announcing. I can confirm that there are no issues with licensing.
--"We contacted several other sources close to CGC last week as well, and heard the same from each of them – that they believe there are no issues with licensing and that CGC is very close to announcing this game".
Monster Bash is the only game out of the possible suspects that is a licensed game, yes?
....Just another log on the MB speculation bonfire.
Well... if you were playing odds, a non-licensed theme would be the most likely candidate to generate a quote of "there are no issues with licensing". So, the speculation bonfire is still ablaze. Personally feel that MBR makes the most sense financially, but I'd be on board for quite a few of the other speculated titles as well.
Quoted from FarFromHeaven26:A newbie? Really? I have published a ton of posts and made a ton of comments at PINSIDE over the past year. I assure you my "spirit" hasn't been broken remotely, just trying to do my part in countering denial. I am 63 years old and have been collecting machines for decades.
BTW, "newbie" is the correct spelling, not "newby." Damn if my post didn't break your "spirit." LOL!!
Well, in fairness to @pinballinreno, I did read his comments about breaking your spirit as a sarcastic remark. Your posts came across as anything but spirit-broken... but I'll let Reno speak for himself.
Quoted from LTG:And we shouldn't want to see anyone get in trouble.
Yeah, but this is Pinside, remember?
Approximately 40 new posts in the last 10-12 hours... I thought some news about the release had broke. Oh well, carry on.
41 posts now.
Quoted from LTG:JJP pins are leaf blade switches on flipper buttons and remakes like the originals are optos on the flipper buttons.
They are some subtle differences especially for upper flippers.
LTG : )
Lloyd... are you absolutely positive that the remakes use the same light photons in the optos that the originals do? I mean, come on... speed of light off by a small percentage could definitely be a factor!!
Quoted from LTG:I guess there will be one there.
LTG : )
I see what you did there... nice guess!!
