Quoted from LTG:

It's greta game ever.
LTG : )

I actually googled "Universal Monsters" looking for an actor or producer named "Greta" hoping Loyd was dropping a clue. Unfortunately it was probably just a typo.

I find his responses professional and interesting. Please keep them coming.

I will be traveling to Chicago tomorrow to find out for myself

I was able to pick up my MMR LE directly from CGC and the visit included a plant tour by Doug Skor.
During the tour I saw a AFM playfield leaning against a column and it didn't take much to realize this would be the next game. I revealed zero without a NDA and for sure won't this time.

Quoted from iceman44:

"yep its really good and blah, blah, blah......"

I was also at CGC today testing MBR, so here is some more lame blah, blah.

CGC did crush it - the game is outstanding and plays very fast. Both Ashley and the tech were present the entire time and very interested in feedback. The prototype game is already highly refined, so my comments were rather nit picky and directed at improving the experience for future owners, especially this one.

Quoted from hoby1:

So there was a CE present..... Was there a huge difference between the classic and LE beside the topper ?

The "CE" was an original, unmodded MB. The LE and SE were remakes, and as previously posted, the SE was in reality a LE without the topper.

The exact differences between all versions needs to come from CGC. I plan to get a LE but all versions are excellent.

Quoted from hoby1:

Thx !!!
When you say the CE was an unmoded original you mean it’s a remake of an original correct ?
Or did the actually have a original MB there to show as comparison?

It was an original MB - incandescent lights - no visible mods. There was no remake CE version to test.

I believe people will be happy with whichever version they select.

Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

Once the game is revealed and starts shipping, it will be a good time to take a fresh look, maybe becoming excited aboot it again.

Unfortunately it is taking along time to reveal and hopefully that happens this month. But I do think people will get excited again.

Quoted from Yelobird: Example, when is the last time you seen a Drac Track that was not toast or at least a dozen creative ways to repair it. Its fairly Obvious this was an overlooked design issue that could have now been addressed.

I raised this issue during my evaluation. It will be interesting to see what they do with such feedback.

Someone probably cancelled, opening up the sale. I'm not condoning the lack of response, but it does them no good to not sell their allocation.
