I still think that remake No 3 is MBr. The new enhancements are not ready yet.. My wife and I are looking forward to an announcement soon...!
Quoted from LTG:I'm thinking a lot sooner than that.
LTG : )
Could you give us a prediction on when you think the next title will be released?
Quoted from LTG:Sorry. No. Not my place to steal their thunder.
LTG : )
I just had to ask! Even I am getting excited waiting for the announcement.
Quoted from CosmoJoe:CGC simply doesn't want a black eye. Also, my suspicion is that production is probably already underway so the delay of the announcement is not delaying the actual shipping of the game.
Quoted from chad:I am thinking the same. Maybe 100 plus games ready to roll. Waiting for the
I agree with you guys. I think whatever game is next, CGC have been making for the last month or even longer. We are looking forward to the reveal!
Quoted from starbase:Yes but I thought it was Universal owned this ip and they want to sell the shit out of it. Not like TAF where you have dead actors estates who have no clue about pinball or some just do not want to sell anyones likeness. TAF is the real hard one, or so it seems.
The licence issues with TAF are not entirely true. If the licencing was such an issue, the pinball game would not be available on Virtual pinball platforms. If CGC think there is a market for a particular machine, they will re make it.
Quoted from Jayg1981:I know they made 20,000 TAF but I would definitely buy a remake with better lighting. I've only ever played TAF in a dim lit bar with no LED lighting
TAF is one of the greatest pinball games of all times. If CGC re made it, I think it will sell very well. That is just my opinion. We have an original.
Quoted from TechnicalSteam:So was there a legit announcement - I am already figuring out which Kidney to sell.
Nothing yet. Still waiting!
I think you guys could be right.. I am predicting the announcement in the next week or so. You know why? Because we just committed big bucks to a Solar system for our house and I said to my wife... I bet MBr comes out in the next week! That is why, that is how our luck rolls.
Quoted from EricHadley:I will sign up for my numbered LE to match my MMr and AFMr the minute it’s announced
same here!
Quoted from flynnibus:Well check out their UL listing...

Collector's Edition Monster Bash people???
That is a fantastic pick up. I think CE could mean Classic Edition.
Quoted from EricHadley:It does, look at the AFMr descriptions.....same......
Nice find! I’d say what 3-4 leaks now all proving MB!
Quoted from GAP:So there is hope for Addams Family remake!
Hell yes! If people can convince CGC there is demand, I feel that CGC will remake it. There is a reason for TAF being one of the biggest selling machines of all time. Game rocks!
Quoted from gunstarhero:What’s wrong with the code on Monster Bash all of a sudden? It’s Lyman code and pretty solid as I remember it.
The PLAYFIELD is what makes that game too easy. It’s fun, great to look at and has cool toys but is not exactly challenging, a lot like another Gomez title, LOTR. I don’t think a LOTR deep ruleset is in the cards tho.
I’ve always found the music, besides the main play theme, to be a little less than stellar too. Well, here comes the bride is kinda amusing.
We actually like the code as it is, any upgrade will be just a bonus for us. If you think the game is too easy open the outlanes all the way or even remove the outlane posts. That should sort that out for you.
We have had the funds saved for this release since the start of the year. We just bought an IMDNLE with the funds and sold a MET premium to help fund MBrLE again. I think we will be able to save the extra money before the game is announced, and hopefully the game is announced before Munsters. If Munsters comes out first, I think our money will be going to Stern. Come on CGC, we are loyal and love your product but this is getting a bit silly.
Quoted from Only_Pinball:I wonder if October is the month we will finally see the game?
I think CGC have encountered a licencing issue similar to Stern and the Star Wars Topper. Someone is sitting on an approval that will happen when they are ready.. Extremely frustrating and costly.
I sincerely hope this title is released soon. We have had a spot and money ready for this game since May of this year.
Quoted from EricHadley:Hopefully Expo is the big reveal, maybe a reveal of a warehouse filled with 1000 boxed LE's ready to ship!
Now that would be cool!
Quoted from PtownPin:I'm a little surprised there are 1250 LE's....I suspect they sold mostly LE's on AFMRLE so the upped the number on MB? with so many LE's their really not that limited That being said I do like the topper (although not in the same class as AFM), and blue powder coating....the only other thing your really getting is a shaker, lockdown bar plate, and mirrored game blades....probably worth the extra coin.
CGC have done their research and previous sales show most of their sales are for LEs. Demand is for LEs. Definitely not limited in my opinion but that is what the market is demanding, a number on a serial plaque with the total number produced. We do not mind, we are still in for a LE. Looking forward to the announcement. Hopefully there are plenty of machines ready to ship!
Quoted from NPO:LOL. I know you're not serious, but if that's all it takes - a shiney lil special plaque with numbers on it - to pry $8000 from people, I am so in the wrong business.
I know, I know. More to the LE than that. Was just funny to read and I couldn't help myself.
I was laughing when I though about it myself! It is true.. The initials LE sell games.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Agree, 1250 LE is not limited at all. More like the maximum number they think they can sell.
t.
I think all the pinball manufacturers set their LE numbers at the max they think they can sell.. I do not think 1250LEs is limited either, same as I thought 1000 TAF golds were a stupid idea at the time, we nearly bought one.. makes me laugh how silly we all are in this hobby.
