Afmr was always cheaper than MB so I think the process will be a little higher more like mm. We'll see.
Based on prior remakes when were the games actually available after announcement? I believe it was quick right?

Could it be that the game arrives with the playfield "planked" as was done on a one off restoration? (I really hope that one is part of the game) Or is it some sort of highly detailed statues? Could it be that the display interlaces movie clips along with the as original "dots"? Lighting and color morphing during gameplay along the ways that WOZ has done?
I just wish there was a date to wait for so I could find out. But more than anything else, I'm surprised how well the lid has been kept on whatever it is.
agreed - if this is just MB with a nice topper I'm going to be disappointed.

I'm glad you mentioned this. Just reading the previous poster comments on this, the LE seems like it's going to offer something incredible and I just feel like this game is not going to delivery THAT much. Yes it will be awesome but I hate when people hype just to hype especially with a slow burner like this game. Let's just stop hyping people up on this game UNTIL it is actually seen by the community not just NDAers. Then people can hype the hell out of it b/c we'll all be on the same playing field as we'll all know what you're talking about!

There is nothing about the additions that really impresses me but something about how a classic looks brand new with all the bells and whistles gets my attention. Damn - so many decisions on what to buy next bc I think Octoberfest looks really good too

It's a eprom. Has those metal legs that break in two seconds.....needs to be installed VERY carefully.

I owned the classic and now the LE AFMr - I can't really tell the diff. I do hook them up to subs though. Point is, I wouldn't have the sound upgrade sway you as long as you're hooking up to base.

I personally am disappointed that it doesn't really do anything extra. Am I still pumped? Yes. How can you not be attracted to a brand new MB but considering all of the possibilities, the topper is disappointing (AFMr crushes it), the ball in the back left is a throw away to me and so on.
Bottom line is the juice felt on these boards is simply people seeing a brand new MB being offered with some nice add ons for a GREAT price considering the used market. What could have been though......especially if that dual code thing turned out to be true.
This topic is getting ridiculous. I'm going to imagine someone didn't say a car is a better "investment" than a pinball machine.

I keep on hearing MBr is coming out as soon as this month. Is that really true? Can't wait to see some new owners post pics, impressions, etc.
damn it. DAMN IT - I might have to buy the LE. God it looks so good and my brain is having a hard time understanding why I'm not buying a game I've always wanted but always thought was overpriced. At 8k, brand new and pimped out - damn you pinball! Making it so hard. Game is such a classic.

LE's are not sold out. They are being sold in batches and those individual batches might be getting depleted however the allotment of 1250 is not completely sold out.

Let's not be that gullible and be pressured into buying an LE RIGHT NOW b/c a distro says get them right now! It's like being worried about buying an orion belt from pinstadium before they "sell out". I rather people on here (specifically folks that sell items) stopping pushing this BS agenda but here we are.
I have my order in but that's bc I want one for sure. I didn't get pressured into making that 8K+ decision by some BS marketing. In fact the smarter decision is to buy it HUO!

You will ABSOLUTELY regret not getting the LE. The topper alone you could prob sell and still spend around the same amount as an SE but you're getting so much more.
Not even mentioning the fact it's limited edition which after all these years will def mean something since we're talking top 5 machines of all time

Thank you! Looks great. I'm waiting for my LE but that classic is nice! Great value and that green single color for the DMD choice will look good on it.
