Quoted from Edster:We did see the photo of the MB playfields right? I still think it will be MBr but maybe the surprise is both MBr and CCr. Seriously new finished code for CC could be a real game change.
... AND it was already announced by a pinball show that it was MBr on Facebook and then quickly deleted ... all signs point to MBr.
Quoted from whitey:I still dont think its MB, with BBB and CC prices why a game thats worth less ???
I think they know that their prices are higher simply because they are rarer, not because they are liked by more. MMr and AFMr were easy - they were the top rated pins of all time by many, with mass appeal AND high value. BBB and CC would not have the same large mass appeal. I'd certainly wager that MBr would sell more total pins than CCr or BBBr.
Honestly I think it all depends on what their actually cost is to build a game at this point, and unfortunately, I doubt we'll ever know that answer. If they can start to build these remakes relatively cheap and can lower their prices, then they can start building these popular, but lesser demand, games.
Quoted from Yelobird:This is someone sitting on a license signature taking their time then the games will flood open.
If this is the case, why not just say so? They could've said months and months ago that they were waiting on licensing approval and that's causing an unknown delay. There's certainly no harm in that, and everyone knows that can take a day, weeks, or months. Then there's no speculation about problems, drama, etc etc. There would be absolutely no downside to saying that, and only upside. For that reason it doesn't make much sense to me, and it's more likely some issue with the machine that needs/needed addressed.
Quoted from evh347:I noticed that they removed the DOHO Easter egg from the graveyard scene where Egor is holding up an torso.
I don't get it - the DOHO is still clearly there?
Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:It's your monitor. Before I replaced mine I couldn't see certain shades and no matter how I adjusted the available settings I couldn't solve it. Especially noticeable in PowerPoint when a cell was present but not populated with something. Maybe your monitor is newer and has settings that mine didn't but after upgrading my monitor I was immediately able to see things that I couldn't before that my peers would point out to me on theirs.
Yeah I bet your right, or their brightness is just turned down too low. The DOHO isn't hidden at all for me - clearly there and not hard to see on my end.
Quoted from Mrbill:if you avoid sales tax at purchase, you still have to pay a use tax(Which is same as sales tax) on your taxes. Or you need to move to a no tax state. I am tempted to buy some pins for my uncle in NV..
I have yet to meet anyone who has paid use tax - are you the first?
