So, my CFBTL mirror motor has never worked. Hologram motor has always been good. I was able to track down a spare motor, so I went to put my hologram motor in place of the bad mirror motor, and install my brand new motor on the hologram. Brand new hologram motor is good, but the old good motor that I installed for the mirror all of a sudden does not work. I have tried both power supply connections for each motor, and neither of them will power the motor that has been good since I got the machine.

Measuring the voltage leading to the mirror motor, I am getting 25V from the bottom wire and 30V from the top wire. I know the motors are rated for 48V. Did the old good motor fry because 55V > 48V (rating of the stock CFTBL motor) ?

N/M. Got it. It turned out there is a very tiny set screw that attaches the arm of the motor to the mirror tilting assembly. I didn't have it aligned with the ridge of the motor arm. If you don't have that aligned properly, the motor will not be able to turn.

Changed out the fuse on the TRIAC board to be safe. I was getting continuity, but that was an ooolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllddddddd fuse.

Looks so bad ass when the Creature actually looks around!
