I'm still having a little trouble picturing the interference and how much space you have to work with. I'm guessing it's all three connectors along the bottom edge, correct? I'm also assuming they're 0.1" pitch based on your Jameco link.
My first thought would be an IDC connector for the cable side. Even though they have a bad rep, the wires would exit at a right angle, probably being lower profile.
Idea #2 would to use a right angle, through hole socket with square tails as an adapter of sorts. The measurements are tricky, and you'd have extra connections to possibly cause grief. Something like a Samtec SSQ-107-02-F-S-RA.
