Hey guys,

I am about to install thompson's tail light mod for my CFTBL, and I noticed my DMD window just looks....cloudy and nasty. It's like it has all sorts of finite scratches and residues from years gone by. No matter how much Windex and elbow grease I use, I cannot seem to make it look 100% clear again.

Anyone have any ideas? I hate to install it like this IF I can make it look cleaner...if not, it is what it is, but I figured I'd reach out firs.t

Lots of Novus and elbo grease. The kits that clear up headlights I have heard work as well but have never tried that.

Excellent - thank you very much!

i used the 3m headlight restoration from walmart on mine. works great if you follow the steps. you use a drill with it. 3 different sanding disks included.

Everything worked out great. I used a 3" air-compressor powered polishing disc I got at HF:

Put down some Novus 2 and ran the tool over every part of the panel for about 30 seconds at 1200 RPM. Came out looking amazing. Already re-installed with the tail light mod. Holy smokes, was that worth it.

They don't have those for sale, you have to get on the wish list. I think it has been like that for over 2 years.
