Yeah, I get the whole 'its capitalism' bit and I'm a big believer in capitalism but this does feel like a carpetbagger. Then again, I'm probably biased by my personal experiences in this hobby. There have been a couple of times where I needed something for an old (50's) game that was literally unobtainium. Through hints and leads from people here, I've been able to locate someone with a spare. Were they cheap? No, but they were priced reasonably and allowed me to have a restored, fully functioning game. It's one of the things I appreciate about Pinside. Hell, I've found that even the most opinionated, arrogant, argumentative, entitled assholes on Pinside are often at the front of the line to offer assistance.
