i'm interested
Quoted from Rappelbox:You are right!
Before i can ramp up production I indeed will need indee some preorders including a payment.
Base components can be in store, that's not a big deal, but Monitors etc. are heavy money storage!
But I won't collect orders before I can't ensure that the units are shipped in an appropiate time window.
I don't want to be mentioned in the same manner as e.g. Hobbit pinball
Based on the nature of the cost of this mod, this is "escrow" material.
I have figures already in my head based on what materials and labor are required.
If I can see a demo of the software, I would be willing to preorder. On MikeD's he did not supply the monitor. A way to cut down costs. As a matter of fact I purchased the monitor that was required for MikeD's and have it sitting here, so I am all in for a non monitor product.

I would imagine given that this is quite some time later than MikeD's original mod, it'll be a 1920x1080 (FullHD) screen and output signal used, not the HD on Mike's.

Based on the size of LCD required, FullHD is not a requirement, it is a bonus.
720p would fit nicely, and keep the cost down at least a bit.
This should be considered.

Exactly the same for me. Have the monitor already purchased from last year, and waiting for a non- monitor product. Please count me in, thanks.
Quoted from Analogkid:Now to get someone to start producing the speaker panel mods again and we'll be all set........
I'm considering doing it.
But I would just be supplying the CnC cut wood and the mask.
But I need to find motivation
New testing monitor is on the way FullHd!!!
If my measurement is correct almost the whole screen is used.
There will be a option available without monitor, but I have to decide if this option also will feature a mount, as normally everything will be mounted together.
Last days I must admit have been a bit "lazy"!
With the new week, I can start with new motivation
Greetings,
Dom

Interested - my creech is in desperate need...
Quoted from Jjsmooth:Got the holo from pinball dreams today. Effing nice.
Yes it is very nice and that was not an easy project. PD should look at doing the WH2O topper as they have the chops to pull it off.

Now let's align those flipper bats!
Hey, this Thread is about the lcd Monitor mod
Not the replacement hologram
But anyways, I like both.
To speed up development I have teamed up with a hardware developer...
On Monday there will be a meeting with a video artist to check possibilities about using
Videos without violating copyrights and serving cool videos at the same time!
Greetings,
Dom
Good on you, Dom! I thought the new holo was a little lacking, really looking forward to your new mod!

Maybe the LCD monitor could simulate the old hologram!

Have you seen the title of the thread ?
I would love to have this thing for my nude creature but I am a dumbass when it comes to computer stuff. How do we get the videos on it?
Installation of your own videos is really simple:
There are several folders on the device.
Each folder represents a game state, like "shoot left ramp", " shoot right ramp", attract mode, creature found etc.
You can put your own videos in every folder and these will then be played randomly when the action happens.
How do I put videos in what kind of folder?
It's a provided usb-stick. Normal way would be to remove the stick from the device and put it in your pc. There you can copy your files.
2nd option is a wireless connection, which will be available optionally.
I made more progress, and the kit will be ready for preorder within the next 2 weeks.

Dom

do you contact us in the order we showed interest, or do we have to jump in and hope they're not all gone?
how many are you making, and how many people already declared interest?
oh, and what video format and max/min size etc do these videos have to be? i'd quite like to start collecting and organising now in advance
Dan
Preorder is available from now on only on www.GermanGamingSupplies.com
Until my Mod is not in Stock, preorder price is 20 EUR lower than the normal price would be later.
The first 20 "Early Birds" using "Creature" as Kupon name also receive another 20 EUR DISCOUNT on top!
The cheaper parts are already on their way, but for Monitors/RaspberryPis in larger orders i need your support/preorder.
Paypment is secured via PayPal.
Greetings,
Dom
Video size is 1080p, Format is *.mp4 (h.264)
If you create your own videos or get them from "somewhere else" please keep in mind that the content (not the video format!!!) has to be rotated 90° clockwise!
I guess I need better instructions. I went to your site to preorder with €20 deposit. Site wanted the whole $439. No option for deposit only. How do I just make the deposit?
I think you misinterpreted my instruction above.
I was speaking about a discount for people buying an unreleased product + extra discount for the first 20 people!
There is no mention about a deposit.
Greetings,
Dom
Hi!
Could you please add Réunion, in your destination list?
And please, for worldwild shipping, make prices without VAT...
I will order as soon as you will add this for me
Thx
