Will you ship to Australia?

#4255 2 years ago

I have this image in a bigger size (677KB).
If anybody would like me to send it to them, just shoot me an E-mail.
I reckon you could print it onto vinyl and stick it over the existing mural behind the rollovers.
That's what I plan to do with it.

#4257 2 years ago

Is that true!?! Or are you gonna make a fool of me when I go out and buy a black light tomorrow?

#4259 2 years ago

Hooley Dooley! I had no idea this was a thing.

I just ordered a black light for the games room. Thanks for this.

#4264 2 years ago
Quoted from Ashram56:

Makes you wonder, why didn't they add black light then if they took the pain of printing it in BL sensitive ink ? Or is that a coincidence ?
Makes me want to actually add blacklight inside the cabinet itself, need to find the right trigger for it (and where to put it)

Even just a little L.E.D. strip of U.V. light over the mural behind the rollovers.

You can use acrylic paint to spice him up a bit.

I've never upgraded the ROM, is it hard? How do you do it?

#4428 1 year ago

WELL DONE!!!!

My best is 750 million. I reckon you've earned yourself an L.E.D. kit as well.

I need help...

I just plugged in my creech after its been in storage for about 4 years. I have noticed a couple of microswitches no longer working. (The K-I-S-S switch for example) but also, the Snack Bar doesn't light up any of the Snack Bar Food Item lights like it used to. Is that a setting that has defaulted or is the switch cactus? Also, I have no ball save. ("stay cool Daddio") again, is that just a setting that has defaulted?

#4599 1 year ago

OK so I’ve spent the time reading the manual and found where to fix most of my issues.

But I still have a dodgy K-I-S-S micro switch.

Can somebody show where to find a replacement micro switch, please?

#4606 1 year ago
Quoted from Manny65:

You can buy either just the replacement switch (you'll need to re-use the actuator arm from your existing switch) or you can buy a new switch with the specific actuator arm for that location. Page 2-41 of the manual shows the specific switch part numbers.
RTBB in Melb has both options in stock

https://www.rtbb.com.au/product/micro-switch-5647-12693-21/

Cheers Manny,
Just ordered the complete switch. Didn’t even know this site existed, I’ve always just used Pinball Spares in Bayswater.

Thank you.

Am I dreaming?

I was sure there was a way to make the blue snack at item lights change order by using the flippers, same as the P-A-I-D rollovers.

I’ve searched through the adjustments menu but can’t find it.

Does it even exist?

Is L-5 the latest ROM?

#4641 1 year ago

At risk of sounding like an idiot,
Can somebody explain what a sound Rom is and how it differs from the CPU rom?

#4645 1 year ago

Ah, that makes sense. Thank you.

I just ordered revision 5 from Mr. Pinball.

His website is a bit tricky to navigate, though.

#4656 1 year ago

This happened to me ONCE a couple weeks ago…

I thought I was going crazy

#4657 1 year ago
Quoted from drummermike:

I used the standard sockets with LEDs and hooked them up to the rear flasher. They light when the ball is hitting the pops.
Better than just having them on with GI.
I also added lights under the outlane plastics.

So, if I want my pop bumpers to flash when they’re hit, do I wire an L.E.D. Into the coil?

#4668 1 year ago

I just cracked a billion points!!!

Been trying to do that for almost 10 years.

Not a bad way to start a Monday.

#4673 1 year ago

Is there a way to make each individual bumper flash when it’s hit, rather than all three flashing together?

#4676 1 year ago

This website says it adds about 5mm to the height of the bumper.
Is there enough room under the ramp far that extra clearance in a creech?

#4682 1 year ago
Quoted from drummermike:

No. Just solder the two wires from the new lights that are in the pops to any of the flashers that light when the pops are hit. I used the rear left flasher.

My rear left flasher doesn’t flash with the pop bumpers…

Hmmm… maybe mine is broken?

#4683 1 year ago

Actually, I can even see one???

Can somebody post a photo?

#4689 1 year ago

That video didn’t show any ramp removal.

It did show that you can fit the pop bumper lights in under the ramps though!

#4691 1 year ago

Google translate THAT!

Super exclusive ad from the Pinside Marketplace!
#4693 1 year ago

That looks amazing!!!! I wonder if there is anyway to diffuse the light a bit?

#4695 1 year ago

Imagine how cool they would look with U.V. Light (black light)

#4697 1 year ago

How much including postage to Australia?

#4703 1 year ago
Quoted from Manny65:

Based on his profile, he's on the NSW south coast near Tathra. Ya practically neighbours ... give or take 1000kms

Not even, only 5 or 6 hundred k’s, I reckon.

Probably about the same distance to Melbourne.

But yes, 5 minutes from Tathra. Had lunch at Tathra pub today. Saw whales.

#4710 1 year ago

Does anybody have a spare one of these decals?

Been having a little fun with these AI art generators.

It’s struggled with creech a bit, but this one turned out pretty good.

Does anybody happen to know the dimensions of the glass?

Just had somebody get a little over enthusiastic

#5118 10 months ago

MThompson,

You said you made a list of the L.E.D. Lights for your machine… haven’t got a copy by chance??

I’d love to see what you came up with.

#5120 10 months ago

I have NEVER seen these outlane lights lit other than attract mode.

Research tells me they light if the snack bar menu lands on “LITE SPECIAL”.

I took the glass off and must’ve tried to get this menu item at least 20 times. Is it a dud item like “HULA HOOP” ???

I've managed to rip the 3D file of Creature from Pinball FX3...
But know I don't what to do with it. Any suggestions??

There’s totally room for an extra flipper under this left plastic…

“THEORETICALLY” what would be involved in something like that?

There are also ads boasting a slightly bigger size.

Has anybody bought one of these yet?

The smaller size advertises as being made of “resin”.

The larger size seems to look a bit soft and squishy in the photo.

Has anybody bought the smaller one?

#5208 8 months ago

The 32cm X 21cm X 13cm size says it made of poly foam board.

The 8cm X 26cm X 20cm size says it’s made of resin.

I have a little hologram replacement project in mind, but it kind of hinges on the smaller of the two being soft and pliable like the image suggests. The word “resin” makes me think it’s hard.

I guess I’ll just buy one and see.

#5220 8 months ago

Do the P-A-I-D rollover lights change order when you press the flipper buttons?

#5223 8 months ago

No, I mean…
My question is for digdiglus.
He was experiencing flipper issues. I was asking him if the rollover lights are responding to him pressing the flipper buttons.

#5232 7 months ago
Quoted from Digduglus:

So flipper coils fire in t12 test menu. But buttons themselves aren't registering in switch tests or play.

But only since you changed light globes?

It’d be a bit odd if it were related, but maybe try putting the original globes back in?

#5234 7 months ago

Looks original to me…

It’s remarkable how many of us Creech owners are here in Australia. I’m noticing more and more every time I read this forum.

2 weeks later
#5370 6 months ago
Quoted from SCRAM:

My play field window has cleaned up ok...not super, but I think it will be alright. However the decals/stickers have bubbles underneath and the top one is not even centred.
I can get a new sticker, but when I started to pull the old one off, it separated leaving the print and glue on the window, with just the clear back pulling off.
Has anyone tried removing these before? Any tips on what might be safe to use to help remove it without damaging the window?

If you just use a super fine wet’n’dry emry paper with water, it should polish up like a headlight lens.

That’s what I plan to do with mine

#5371 6 months ago
Quoted from NYP:

Anyone know who has these backboard decals in the states? TIA
[quoted image]

I have these alternatives. I can send you a digital file if you want to get it printed yourself?

Quoted from AndyC:

I have no idea why I didn’t do this back in COVID when I had the ramps out, but after seeing the chat here about the lighted pop bumpers I figured it just had to be done.
[quoted image]

Where did you get those pop bumpers?

#5409 5 months ago
Quoted from AndyC:

I think I got the caps and skirts from Nino at RTBB sometime back and the LED inserts from Pinball Haus.

And you just went with the white L.E.D. Pop bumper lights? It looks good through the teal caps?
