I'm new to the hobby so excuse any lack of terminology on my part. Is the wire pure black? After looking at mine it looks like it could be one of three wires:

Black with occasional blue dot: goes to left flipper assembly (EOS switch?)
Black with occasional brown stripe: goes to a light
Solid black: goes to unused (on my machine)

If it's solid black, my Creature doesn't use it. It goes to a connector that would plug into slot J1 on the small board on the left, but mine is not connected so I've never touched it. Picture below. Hope this helps.

After looking at my manual, it looks like that board controls the mirror motor for the hologram. I have the LCD mod, which explains why mine isn't connected since i don't need the mirror motor. Do you have the LCD mod installed?

Anyone know where to find a lamp socket for the bowl? Not the whole ring assembly of lights, just a single socket. I bought a Creature a few months back and I'm slowly fixing things here and there (first pin, still learning). Put some green bulbs in the bowl the other day and realized it only has 7 sockets instead of 8. Looks like it broke off since the (pins?) of the socket appear to still be soldered in and sticking out the underside. I'm not going to buy a new assembly for one socket, but I would like to fix it.

I'd love to help, but my wiring for the hologram motors was disconnected/borked when the prior owner put the lcd mod in, so I can't be sure it is accurate. If no one else responds by tonight I'll try to get a pic of what mine looks like.

Video mode is 8 right ramps, then hit the lit saucer.
