Looks great! Maybe go with yellow or green buttons though.

Plenty of pinball suppliers carry cabinet decals for machines (eg google "CFTBL cabinet decals) - there can be variation in the quality and colour, and some are not necessarily produced under license
PPS (who holds the B/W license) stock CFTBL http://www.planetarypinball.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PPS-PPS-CFTBL-CABSETSS but other companies do stock and can produce authentic licensed decals as well.
The ones I bought are trash, and printed on gloss vinyl rather than matte… Don’t buy any of the “custom” stuff from Pinball.Center, I’ve already made the mistake twice. The normal stuff is fine, but the customised products are trash.
Have to put this on hold for a while. Will resume later on, but overall pleased with what I managed to get out of the way. 99% sure this game will go for sale, so I’m trying to get it both fully functional and presentable.
Translite glass broke months ago, will have to order a new one. Kind of goes hand in hand as my TAF playfield glass was shattered during shipping, so I’ll just order both a backbox and playfield glass and split it between the two.
Quoted from Soulrider911:Nice work! Are the decals from planetary?
Pinball.center in my neck of the woods. I wasn’t even aware that Rick does the purple version (although that would make sense given that he holds the rights to produce all the B/W stuff). But I’m not pleased with the quality.
Quoted from Fifty:I really like the green you chose for powder coating. Care to share the Pantone number?
I’m afraid I can’t remember… The parts were powdercoated ages ago.
Just for informational purposes what colour legs or was it chrome did Creech release with? I am having my legs re-chromed but a FB member told me they were never chrome but rather a grey hammered finish when releasing in 1992/93.
Question 2
While the legs of my Creature from the Black Lagoon is in for chroming I thought (after the fact) "Hell I got no machine to play might as well build a dolly for it".
Currently, it is sitting on two crates so I am not sure what height to build the dolly. Can someone please measure the cabinet height off the floor and I will build it an inch taller so when the legs come back they can be mounted and I will have a dolly for future use and moving.
Thanks!

I believe it was silver vein or something along those lines. I was able to get the correct ones from Pinball Life years back. They won’t show they have them now.
Quoted from Soulrider911:Well a hard to find part just broke. Right corner ball gate exit from the shooter lane. Anyone know a source to get one of these? they seem to be sold out everywhere. i think the part is #A-15662

I think it's A-15663, available at marco. Looks like the whole assembly. I bought just the wire somewhere, can't remember where right now.

Long shot before I sit down and count. I am shopping out my CFTBL and decided to replace all playfield topside screws and nuts. Does someone have a list of all the sizes and counts needed for this?
At the same time a list and count of all the bulbs?
In both cases I will probably purchase more than needed for future need and replacements.

Have a look at the part list:
https://www.ipdb.org/files/588/Bally_1992_Creature_from_the_Black_Lagoon_Parts_List.txt
Lamp-wise -- 64 per the matrix (555s), GIs are 44s, not sure how many (I always get 20 and end up with spares), and obviously a couple of flashers.

I did think of looking at the parts list but how will I be sure what I amlooking at is topside of the playing field? I see from the list a level is mentioned 1 to 6, what does that refer to?

Unless I'm wrong, topside nuts are 6-32s.

Pinsider steffan is correct that the part number is A-15663 (see item # 21 on PDF) and if you want to purchase just the wire and use your original bracket the wire is available at Action Pinball.

The levels show the various assemblies/sub-assemblies and their respective components
Level 2 - ABC Assembly (which is made up of the below 5 x Level 3 components & sub-assemblies)
Level 3 - Component 1
Level 3 - Component 2
Level 3 - Component 3
Level 3 - XYZ Sub-Assembly (which is made up of the below 2 x Level 4 components)
Level 4 - Component 1
Level 4 - Component 2
Level 3 - ZZZ Sub-Assembly (which is made up of the below 3 x Level 4 components)
Level 4 - Component 1
Level 4 - Component 2
Level 4 - Component 3
You will be able to easily identify the topside assemblies from the parts list and therefore work out what screws and nuts are used in that assembly (based on the above level information), however there will most likely be other screws etc on the PF topside that aren't part of an assembly. These will be listed as a components of the PF but you wont know if they are used on the top or bottom of the PF.

Mine is front 50cm / 2,54 = 19,685", back 60cm / 2,54 = 23,622"
My other WPC games are this height or up to 1/2" higher.

Getting ready to order parts for my CFTBL. Looking at the parts list these are the bulb types and count for each. I am going to order extra but just want to know if someone can confirm my list. I did not think there were that many flashers and the parts list total 34x #86-mini bulbs.

I am not sure if I like the multi colour LEDs. I might just go with all white LED's. From what I read the LED flashers are not so good.

FYI...#906 LED bulbs flash briefly when you press the flippers in. Some phantom reverse current happens. It's a bit annoying. You can add diodes or just leave regular incandescents in.
Ironically my game did not like certain led flashers… I was having what appeared a flasher matrix issue. One flasher would appear to trigger others. Low and behold it was led flashers of a particular type causing the problem. I went to all incandescent and I actually really like them… as they still retain the nostalgic fade to them

I believe there are (24) in the curly ramp for the chase light board and there are another (8) in the whirlpool, this makes me wonder where the other (2) #86s are located.
ps
you may want to consider ordering LED bulbs for these (since changing out the ones in the curly ramp is a royal pain).
cometpinball.com sells 2 varieties:

I ordered the warm white version of the first link and used rit dye to dye the white nylon black so that they blend into the black sockets when not lit.
Looking for ideas for the pop bumpers. just got this Creech - currently it has purple caps with those LED ring things fitted - which I’m not keen on , they make them look like UFOs
Thinking returning to just regular single lamp and maybe green or teal caps . Or maybe go down the orange or red route ? I like the starburst cap ones.
Any pics of your game appreciated
I personally like the teal caps with wave top / wide angle single leds and either clear or transparent green bodies.
Also a couple of starpost lights in the area behind the snack bar to light it up a touch more.

Have you seen stumblor Creech? He had teal caps on there and clear bases I believe. Different cap style too. I know he just did up those Lollypops as well which add some great flair to the game in the pop area. You should check them out!
I am going to do the pop bumper mod. I am changing over to Teal and are hooking them up to the bumpers to flash.
Is this the correct lamp holder I need (picture)?
Pinbits is out of stock so I am just going to pick up the parts from our local electronics store
Pop bumper lamp sockets 3
Diodes 1n4004 3
Wire 3 feet
Bulb, 555 3
Zener diode, 6.8V 5W 1 High brightness option
and follow these instructions: http://iobium.com/flashers_in_the_pop_bumpers.htm
Due to the difficulty level to access I will be installing LED's, thinking this one: https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/05-555WW - Nice wide angle.
I am not a fan of the ring lights, it looks too modern for the age of the machine.
Any thoughts and experiences shared will be greatly appreciated.
I've gone away from those sockets long ago..get on the Pinball life ones..much more robust and awesome to work with in my humble opinion...
