looks good, and there is no right or wrong here, just preference.

This is not a place for being reasonable! This is Pinside!
Quoted from CoPinfan:Warm white looks so much better in my opinion. Especially on classic themed games like Creech or Indy.
Warm white GI all day... although I did ALL frosted 2 smd sunlight (GI, backbox and inserts, no color matching at all) on my IJ recently and am pretty happy with it, so I might just do that going forward. Very convenient and cost effective too!
Hi guys,
My table is almost ready now, thanks for the help on here, but I have an error message on the on-test, can anyone help with this?
GND. SHORT ROW 5 WHT - GRN R5
I dont know what to do about this at all. Any suggestions would be great.
There are a couple of other things not working, but I hope they will be fixed by sorting this one.
Thanks
KW
Quoted from Soulrider911:Hey folks question, I noticed there is a missing lamp socket on my bowl board, this could be by design as its right above the lane, OR a ball smacked it off... If that is the case does anyone have any idea where to get a replacement socket? THank you[quoted image]
It should be there. Not sure where you can find one however.
Selling a 7 inch tall ceramic Pop Corn box piggy bank that would make an excellent topper or part of a topper for a Creech pin. $25 shipped. (Sorry that it's displayed on an IJ back box... just wanted to give an idea of scale.) PM if interested.

Thank you for trying and I also had someone recommend calling Pinball resource and he said he has not had these for a long time. So I may end up just soldering a bulb directly in. At least LED's almost never die Thank you for all the help
Quoted from Soulrider911:Thank you a fellow pinsider had one!! Thanks, Pinside!
I made him buy our Taxi, Diner and Cactus Canyon bowl MRS' in trade : )
Quoted from Soulrider911:New Baffle, old Baffle. Nothing like a 3D printer on hand to solve problems like this
[quoted image]
Looks awesome. And for those that don't have a 3D printer Scott D has been offering these (3d printed) from Pinball Life for some time and will say they look great!

Quoted from Yelobird:And for those that don't have a 3D printer
Try your local library. Some have 3D printers you can use.

Agreed but as he sells them for less then $20 to generate revenue for the employees of PinballLife sometimes the simple solution is the best lol.
I would also like to say I am a huge supporter of PBL. I have spent countless amounts of $ there as I love supporting them. Without them, I would not be able to enjoy my restorations. all love here.
Hey Soulrider911
I too have a socket missing from the Bowl board..
Can anyone help me out.
Looks like a part that needs remaking!
Do any other games have this type of socket!?... Anyone.
Thanks

Doing digging - Pinball Vault has the blue print for the board, that do show the Mini sockets on Marco as the correct ones... but Soulrider911 ordered and on arrival said they were wrong ones.

Do you have these? would you be willing to sell one?
Thanks
edit:
additionally I reached out to marco specialties to see if they have the correct part using the photo that That_Pin_Dude provided above
edit2:
steve from marco's replied back
they ordered the wrong socket and will remedy the issue shortly with the correct one

Looks like you are going green. I had green in for a while also. I put the red back in though. I think there was too much green in that playfield for the green popper tops.
I also put in lights and connected them to a flasher at the back left in the playfield. They now light when they are hit.
I put lights under the outlane plastics to brighten that area up. I had to drill 5 holes and install the light sockets.
Quoted from Soulrider911:drummermike did you buy new metal return lane guides with gi holes in them ?
cliffy sells those. I provided him with the dimensions a few years ago

I used the originals with no holes. I do not want the right side lights to go into the bowl. They do provide nice light to the outlanes though.
I posted picture a while back. I will find the post number for you.

Post is 1503 to see the lighted outanes. Page 31.
My Creature is now about 95% done. Just a couple of nagging minor issues (one outlane switch not working, one stuck ball). I'm also not sure my reed switch is working properly, had both balls in the whirlpool but only a fixed score of 2 million on the screen. Still need to install animated marquee sign, DMD panel lighted taillight mod, new ramp and whirlpool lights, and Swinks snackbar v3 upgrade. I've put a couple dozen games on it so far, Mirco playfield still looks great. Currently has:
LED kit from Pinball Bulbs
MikeD Hologram video mod
Swinks v1 lighted snackbar
Pinsound+ with Wool's Sound Effects and over 90 of my favorite songs from 50s and early 60s
Mirco playfield
Titans matched to playfield colors
Plastic posts matched to playfield colors
All new playfield plastics
All new coils
Hand polished all metal pieces
Cleaned boards and reflowed solder joints
