Nice! Anyone else getting their shot rejected (frequently) at the snack bar? Sometimes I shoot a clean shot into the snack bar and I get a clank type noise and the ball comes rolling back out. I can't see anything interfering with the ball. Anyone have any kind of fix for this?
I will show my Creature from the Back Lagoon exterior decals restoration. Yo can gimme your opinions about, of course.
I developed a technique by myself in which I am able to keep original hand´s drawer, machine dop pattern and get a vectoriced result! Judge by yourself!

Lower the scoop. Put washers underneath to drop the scoop a little or actually physically bed the top of the scoop down gently with your palm. Probably getting too much rattle. Lowering the hood reduces the space for the ball to bounce around and the energy is directed toward putting the ball in the hole.

Can you also do an apron design. Like the hobbit something that completely covers the apron. In style of rhe theme. I would love that.

Of course! I like to design for design! I pregnanted of ideas. My question is: Can you give me exact profile/shape of complete apron? If you can do this simple thing, I will show you a good result.

Storaged too.
I have a lot of projects, because my hobby are arcade cabinets too. I´m restoring "Barrier Side Arts" from CINEMATRONICS In this moment. In fact, I started yesterday:

Anybody looking for an entire set of ramps and bowl? I spent the last 18 months completely restoring my CFTBL. The ramps are in good shape, no cracks or chips. I went crazy and spent $450 on a compete set of repo ramps.
Thought I would post here before the classified section. Can send photos to interested parties.

I don’t understand what your showing ? Are the images supposed to be a comparison between your reproductions and the originals?
Quoted from gunstarhero:Where can we order cab decals from? I’m dangerously ready to redo my Creature cab.
If you wait to the next week I showed all restored, I would order a copy for you (and if you like my restoration. of course). But you must wait now!

Hi, I really like these so I picked up a set on ebay and wanted to know what gauge wire did you use to hold these in place? Did you attach these to the screws on post?
Thanks Joe

I'm going to guess about .050" dia. I'm not 100% because I just had an unmarked roll in my shop. I just wrapped it around each and extended it down the back side, bent it and created a little hook so the post screws and washer would fit. Then tightened the screw.

Mine does this as well. Not sure if it is normal though.

I like Pinball Life’s 4-SMD LEDs for the CREATURE letters. I tried incandescants and various other LEDs and they weren’t bright enough to make the letters stand out.

The quality here is a little rough (iPad motion stills converted to an animated GIF) but gives an idea of the relative brightness...

My one is very bright. I use pink LEDs in those G.I. I quite like the end result.

Yes, except the capital C takes two. I just remembered something though... I don't think they're anti-ghosting LEDs. So if you just plop these LEDs in without doing something to eliminate ghosting (LED OCD board or a patched ROM), there's a chance you'll see ghosting.

or you can add a 470 ohm resistor to the bulb socket

Question for the group.
Would you strip your cabinet and apply new vinyl or keep it original just to fix button wear.
The rest of the cabinet has little wear and nice colors.
Better to make perfect or just leave original and cover with lollipop rails or button covers.

I agree with button covers a little black spray paint around the edge would work to cover areas not covered by a button patch. The machine I got had button covers and I think it looks good. Shame we can’t get after market rails with metal button covers like some Data East Games or Sterns
For those guys with a v2.0 Snackbar Mod that would like to upgrade with cool backlit Neon look Signage.
Here is a link for the back lit 3D Snack Bar signage (v2.5 upgrade) from Shapeways, which I will have a basic manual of how to perform the upgrade and what parts to get from Comet Pinball. This fits all Snackbar v2.0's and replaces the red dome for that cool neon look signage and gives the playfield a nice glow and up to you what colour leds you install for the look that you are after.

yes, you need all 3 pieces - the insert goes into the signage housing and then the clamp plate goes in place where the dome mounts and then you get the clamping action - via a screw - will post instructions soon.
