Quoted from demoman3955:

another machine i had, had a switch under it, and this has nothing.

Games of that era did not have toggle sw., but have a kickoff/shutoff sw. which is exactly like it sounds: you're supposed to kick the bottom of the cabinet, which will then shoot a little pin up to essentially short and turn off the power. It may be under the bottom board in the cabinet, but you'll need to make sure it isn't stuck. Also check these other sw. and that fuse.

Another thought: Gottlieb games of that era need to have the score motor in the proper position or they won't start. Find the W relay and (with game plugged in) manually engage it by pushing on the plastic relay armature.

now the playfield glass is in a million pieces.

Oh no!! Did something land on it? I would use a shop vac to get up all the shards on the PF, after picking up the larger stuff.
