Center Post Adjusting? HELP

any pics ? ... I don't have any games with a pop-up center post, I don't know if they screw in or what ...

Yes. Check the bottom of the assembly. Usually a bolt to loosen or a screw to turn to raise or lower it. Assuming it's snapped on tight.
