They appear flipped to me?
Quoted from PinballMikeD:Looking good Chris. Are you building a new harness, see some switch wiring in those pics?
Thought I saw a post about making connectors for some of the assembles, so they are easier to move in and out to work on.
Coming along nicely Chris.

That makes since.

They were in the picture. Was corrected.
Quoted from MrBellMan:I would remove or replace the coin door decal. It looks great, but no way does Midway get mentioned with this Classic Bally masterpiece! Just my opinion of course...
Completely agree. It must get the correct Bally sticker with the correct Red color not some cheap off brand...
Now I'm really getting excited to see this beauty come together. Can't wait to see the next installments!

No custom inverted black targets with white writing, to match the inverted colors of the cabinet?

The playfield doesn't have inverted colors....think that part is staying more original.
Had some delays with other projects that were holding this up but I am reassembling the playfield now so updates are coming soon as well as final completion.
If you don't mind me asking where do you get the sockets that are on the majority of the inserts? Thanks Mike

Probably Pinballlife but it can vary as to exactly which socket. Seems like no one place really carries everything you need for the early Bally SS games mechanically. Takes a bit of shopping around.
What is your technique for stripping out a small portion of insulation mid wire when doing those runs between sockets, so you can solder as you go?
thanks

Strip the desired area and thread it.
Looks great . Makes me almost miss mine / But I have so many new ones and I was neglecting my beauty so sold it to a close friend I got Into pinball and he is loving it much . Destroy Centaurrrr !!!!!!

Try MCM Electronics or Electronix Express online. I'm not sure, but I thought I bought a bunch from one of those places once.

Thanks!
This may seem crazy but I had no idea they made a wire stipped that can strip just a middle section like that!
Have a brand you reccomend?
Looking good Chris. A lot of detail in that harness work. Love the nickle plating for the coil assemblies
How often do you do one of these where when finished the game needs no adjustments/troubleshooting what so ever? That's gotta feel incredible assuming it's ever happened. Haha
Quoted from iron00monkey:Did you do anything special to the magnet coil?
I think mine is fried, so I'm curious...
No. These are tough to come by so I could not even remove the bracket. TheRe is a small diode upstream connected to it so maybe check and or replace that.

It just takes a little practice and adjustment. They are nothing more than your average auto strippers.

Some need a little more than others but rarely any troubleshooting because I try to overcome the typical issues by putting a bit more effort in the build.
Adjustments are a different story never have I done anything that didn't need at least a couple of adjustment once you can really play it.

Yeah that's what I figured. Mine need adjustments from moving them across the room haha. That's crazy skills to be able to build one of these up from the ground, let alone make them look better than new. Great work!
Quoted from dmbjunky:Do always rewire the playfield or do you usually save the harness?
Was an effort to go away from stapling the wire throughout the playfield...like below is standard for this era
