My "recently fixed" Centaut 2 suddenly shut down mid game and now has no music. All other sounds seem to work. Game boots correctly with 7 flashes. Game calls out correctly and speaks "Centaur" when adding players but no longer says "Destroy Centaur" or plays music.

Can you assist?

My switch setting on 18 was somehow at 0. Changed back to 3 and now working. How can that be changed mid game?

Quoted from paulbaptiste:

It didn't specifically happen during the course of a game. It happened when the MPU board crashed and corrupted the contents of your NVRAM.
