Okay, so I’ve got my entire Centaur playfield tricked out in Comet LED’s. 2SMD frosted for GI, and 2SMD clear (color-matched) for inserts. Looks like a million BUCKS, however…..the four green arrows at the 1-4 drop targets are not swapped due to the fact those li’l buggas are covered by the drop target assembly! UGH!! I’ve never had to remove one before, but it seems I have to, to get to those four lamps. Can anybody help me understand how I begin to remove it??? Am I gonna have to desolder and take it apart piece-by-piece??? Any advice or best practices MOST welcomed!! Thank you!!

Quoted from Rikoshay:

There are 4 hex head screws that hold the drop target assembly in place.
Try a 1/4 inch socket on an extension attached to a ratchet to loosen them.
You may not need to completely remove the assembly, as in the 'play' you get from loosening the screws may be enough for you to get your hand in and replace the globes?

Much appreciation for the feedback. I posted this too in another thread, and SunnRAT directed me to post #1075 in the ‘Centaur Club…..Members Only!’ thread where he illustrates a much simpler workaround. If my fingers weren’t so fat, it would’ve been effortless! LOL Now, all is right with the world!
