i have been careful and this has happened to mine as well

It has definitely not been hit. I doubt my wedding ring did this with the limited number of plays.

I addressed this with Damian and they are taking care of it. Excellent and responsive customer service.

you'd have to ask damian. are you inquiring to purchase one? pinside maps should give you some idea. there aren't that many. mine is celts 32 highland version (CE) and order 351 after the 250 mermaids sold out. i'm not sure how the celts numbering system works given standard vs premium versions.
celts is a fun throwback em style game with modern flair. the build quality is exceptional.
