Congratulations. I added lighted purple flipper buttons. Look good with grurple and probably great with yours.
All my concerns have been answered about Haggis. Just an incredible accomplishment from conception to finish. I must say its worth every penny spent. I only played a few games, but so far it’s exactly what my collection needs, something completely different. It has a very unique feel. I could barely lift the game onto that stool, the cabinet must be solid oak ? Absolutely love how the playfield lifts up. Bravo Haggis , the powder coating is best I have ever felt/seen. You guys will not be dissapointed with a Haggis pinball machine.
What a fun ass pinball machine!!! Its a Blast to play!! The old style sounds/feel are exactly what i wanted. It demands ball control, but also gives opportunity to just rip it !!! An unbelievable game for a start up pinball company. Absolutely love hearing my personal name being yelled at me, makes you want to try harder, can’t say enough about CELTS!! When the game room gets full, start putting them into bed rooms!!!
Definitely has that just one more game feel, my Dog took a huge piss at my feet last night!!! Got so into it I forgot to let her out!!! Agree with Punkin %100. My only hiccup is the glass size, maybe someday if enough of us wanted Invisi /Vudoo Glass, someone could could make a batch for our Celts ? I really have become spoiled with Invisi Glass on all my games. Still can’t get over how heavy and thick the legs feel. The colored sparkle in the paint. The paint on this Celts is the level of quality that STERN should provide .
Quoted from ElkoSteve:Do we know how many total have been produced? and how many made it to the States?
you'd have to ask damian. are you inquiring to purchase one? pinside maps should give you some idea. there aren't that many. mine is celts 32 highland version (CE) and order 351 after the 250 mermaids sold out. i'm not sure how the celts numbering system works given standard vs premium versions.
celts is a fun throwback em style game with modern flair. the build quality is exceptional.
That stucky is unbelievable, look how much force was used to jam that ball in its tight space.
Then again it is a fast close game.
Just stopping by to say I was lucky enough to play Celts at Zapcon this weekend and really enjoyed it. Reminded me immediately of the first time I played Total Nuclear Annihilation in that it has the ‘just one more game’ appeal and also a unique layout but still felt almost familiar to navigate through.
Home run for a first attempt so congrats to Haggis and many thanks to whomever brought the game for the public to play at a show!

That was me! Glad you enjoyed it. The game was up and running both days of Zapcon. Had one broken flipper bat that we got fixed early Sunday, and then found out when I got home that the upper flipper bat is also broken. One of those front standups got stuck as well, but that's to be expected, those things get bashed constantly. Overall it held up well. And made it back home to Vegas with no issues, thankfully.
Aussies generally don't have big heads , ha ha ha.
I might put mine in the next West Coast Pinball Festival ( if it happens )

They don't call me punkinhead for nuthin'.
Great idea taking it to the show. I'm having a real hard time trying to decide what to take to Pinfest this year.
Blacked out Judge Dredd
Restored Lost World
Restored Taxi
Tron
Mermaid if Haggis don't go
Sunset Riders
I only want to take 2 or i have to stand them up in the van. Bill offered to sponsor me if i wanted to take a bunch with him. That'd be cool, just turn up like a rock star, all machines setup ready

HUGE thanks to you, Steve!
Celts arrived today! Extra cool for me because I'm the guy who started the Mission Pinball Framework back in the day and this machine is the first commercial machine to run MPF! This is a highlands edition with my own family name (Stewart, my mom's maiden name and my middle name) with the clan's colors and crest and all that which I found online and have no idea if they're real.
Anyway, I won't have time to unbox it for a few days. I will be at the NW Pinball & Arcade Show in a few weeks (in the FAST Pinball booth), and I'll bring this machine and have it out on the floor for people to play.
For anyone wondering and for posterity, Damian told me this on Celts colours;
Yeah, 90% Grurple, a few Purple Heathers, two Black Onyx and one Celtic Green.
I have a black onyx and know the other is in the States, but who is the smart bastard who bet on Celtic Green?
Good on ya if you are reading
Let's face it, they all look great.
Who would of thought that the colours of an Italians kitchen would work.

I’m confused, what’s this about?
Quoted from Pinhead86:O I ordered Celtic green but I have since sold my celts.
Cool, you can tell the buyer he has a one off.
Slow joining the group. Celts #2 lives in Texas! This other guy also named Ed, stopped by to play it this past July while on tour
I also know that Celts #3 resides in Texas as well.
Just wanted to say thank you to the team for recognizing my attempts to steer us all away from climate change. According to my Celts game, I saved a lot of electricity last night.
If anyone is looking for a Celts to sit next to their Fathom i will be listing one shortly. PM if interested.
Low plays, and one of two in the world with Black Onyx trim. I would guess there are way less than 100 Celts produced so far. Mine was one of the last ones built at #55
I have spoken to Damian and he is willing to check over the machine and rebox and handle the shipping to US or Canada. The machine is custom made to Clan Smith, but can be reverted to a standard backglass (keep the Smith one too) for $750au or to a custom backglass with custom callouts for $1500au. Shipping cost is between you and haggis, but the delivery to Haggis will be included in the purchase price.
Ughh. Got three games in and left flipper died . Looking at usual culprits don't see anything. Anyone have any similar issues. Upper flipper working fine so doubt it's a driver board thing.

Did flipper die, or did the glue that holds the post to the bat disentegrate ? All three flippers on my Celts at some point, needed the flipper bats replaced because of this..

Flipper mech not firing.
Also I may have a burnt fuse. Is 14a 250 the right size?

Nevermind see they are t4al 250 . Ordered
Feeling pretty good about my super limited single level game. Actually mine is super super limited because it is personalized to my family name with custom callouts. And GRURPLE!
When you understand and enjoy chasing coloured inserts to achieve modes, goals.
You start to appreciate the unique shot layout and simple things that this unique game brings.
For a first game, it truly is innovating and addictive.
“ grab your sporrans “
Can someone take a picture of the diverter mech in the back of the playfield. mine was in parts in the bottom of the cabinet. not sure how it goes back together?
Also let me say I'm impressed by Damian at haggis. He has been very responsive helping me even though I bought the game second hand. I hope I can support this company more in the future.
Hope this helps you luckycreature
