    Like the topic says, name a few people born from your town..within 30 miles. I’ll start with Pamela Anderson..Ryan Reynolds..Larry walker..and Cheech & Chong started/met in Vancouver , so I’m adding them too..

    Jeff Garcia CFL QB and NFL Quarterback (49ers & Eagles to name a few)
    4 time Pro Bowler, but no HOF.
    Bob Kampa NFL Linemen (2 yrs with Buffalo)

    I live in the Seattle area so I'll be the first to claim Jimi Hendrix. Of course there are tons of other famous people from this area but for me Jimi stands above the others.

    Craig Kirkman several times World Skeet Champion. Nice guy from a Sporting Family.
    Lived beside Richard Petty once, still kicking and messing with hot cars. Awoke many times when they were testing
    those Hemis.

    I went to high school with Erin Andrews the sports broadcaster. Good ol Bloomingdale High school in Valrico Fl.

    Oh and also Debra Lafave the hot blonde teacher that put school predators on the map.

    Kid Rock -used to see him in the restaurants often.
    Tim Robinson (Detroiters, SNL) - He wrote this short film for SNL and included the line "We're gonna have some beers behind the gazebo in Depot park" (at 24 seconds), which is what the high schoolers would do. We just did it last Friday night!

    I sure didn't have any teachers that looked like her when I was in high school. Wouldn't have ditched so many classes and hung out in the smoking area.

    Pro golfer Jim Furyk was one of my classmates and a teammate of mine on the 1980 MT Royals B division baseball championship team. I still have the Polaroid of our team picture. Jim, me and two other kids in class used to hang out in 4th grade together and punch each other in the balls all the time. It was some sort of sick game we played.

    I remember drew Bledsoe as a lil guy at football practice. His dad was my hs coach. I went to an autograph session yrs ago for my kids and he signed a pic of him and dad on the field

    Jon Stewart (The Daily Show) went to the same High School I attended (Lawrence High School in NJ) but I was long gone from the area before he was in that school system. He moved from NY to NJ about the same time as I was headed off to college.

    The Edmonds brothers are from my city- they all play in the NFL, (all three brothers) they do a lot of community events like ymca and boys and girls club events. They are all genuinely nice guys.
