Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Go higher by 700 each, plus extras.
In that case I would be out and moving on to something else. I predicted on the high side.
Plenty of great new titles floating around at the 6k price range. Why should the classic cost more than a stern pro?
If they wanna sell alot of games "imo" the price should be...
$8500 limited
$7500 special
$6500 classic
At most.
Is this game as desirable as
MM
Afm
Mb
I'm not sure as we haven't seen it. Hopefully it's a big improvement over the original. If so that'll be a good thing. If not no justification for a high price tag. Again imo.
2nd quarter of 2020 afm specials and mb specials could be had for $7000 nib and sat as people bought ehoh at $7400 nib.
I for one made that exact decision.

Quoted from Bublehead:I think the key to remakes is producing the machine with the highest return for least investment. CCr is in that boat, the mechs and parts needed are fairly straight forward and only real development costs are the engineering to adapt their platform to the CC hardware. With rarity and scarcity feeding the fomo machine, an interactive topper, and the "LE" treatment, CCr was a no brainer. Now for #5 my money is on Totan or ToM since once again, the same paradigm applies. But the mystique (or the ghost) of JPop is still viable in the classic B/W catalog only because so many of us have played (and enjoyed) the games and we continue to sing their praises even in these forums. Yes, Totan, ToM, CV and WCS are fun shooters, you can really blow them up on a regular basis, but wasn't that the allure of them when we crossed paths with them on site? We knew we could, within a few games, have a massive GC score and top the HS table? Hell I will drop coin in a ToM every time I see one, it's just fun to shoot.
The wife and I always throw quarters in tom everytime we see it also. Just one of those games that grab your attention.
Quoted from noitbe1:I was wondering the same thing. Surprising.
Well it's not for sale yet. How can it be hot or not? Do we even have a price point yet? Starting to think I missed something.
Quoted from JoeHog:I've got a feeling we are gonna hear something pretty soon. And usually I'm spot on.
They are ready to ship maybe.
Yes, and sooner than you think.
