Quoted from LTG:

I don't think they are doing that anymore. Too much hassle getting a certain number to a certain distributor. Was a nightmare in the past.
LTG : )

I believe most games are drop ship from the manufacturer to the buyer.

The distributor then just takes in the money and pays cgc.

Quoted from KingPinGames:

this definelty not the norm. most games are shipped to the distributors and then out to the customers.

At least 2 of my CGC LE’S came from Chicago.

Quoted from transprtr4u:

if they were contracted today by this announcement, guessing nothing done to code ?
but will be ? seems strange as this should have been done long ago if there is a release coming?

Agreed…first thought that came to my mind.

Quoted from underlord:

Speaking for myself, I’m in the 1% category of income earners

According to banking rates, in New Hampshire the minimum you need to make to be in the top 1%: $486,812 per annum...

Was just curious.

Even though I have been on cointakers list since August, I found out this evening from Melissa (after me sending an email) that I didn’t make the cut…even though I got a couple emails saying: “…we should have enough and should not be an issue”.

So now I’m on the look for one. I thought that having the previous 3 remakes with #034…I’d not have a lot of trouble getting #4.

Should’ve not put all my hope in Cointaker, even though I’ve bought from them before. I guess I haven’t bought enough from them to get one out of their allocation.

Any help is appreciated…I’ll be on the phone tomorrow!

Quoted from Medic:

Her LE list is smoke and mirrors.

I thought because I’d done business with her before, that she would be straight with me.

I heard from a friend of mine that Doug Duba was going to make an announcement either tonight or tomorrow about the CCr…though he wouldn’t say what it would be.

So, maybe some of the questions people have will be clarified.

I have a deposit on a CCr LE and have purchased the previous 3 LE’s…I’m happy.

I don’t really care about the ancillary discussions about the SE topper or the PPS mirrored backglass…if I get a chance to purchase the backglass later, I’ll give it some thought.

The only issue I have is that there seems to be no real process or plan for previous LE owners to get a matching # for their CCr LE.

I got this key fob a few months ago, knowing I’d probably get a CCr…it’s a bit gaudier than I anticipated, but it should at least be easy to find.

No real complaining for me about this release.

Quoted from Lamberger:

man, did this company just shoot itself in the foot or what? I predict half future sales. I'm out and several buddy's that own bars just said out! resale was everything. OUT buy second hand when it coms along.

Why?

Since the LE and the SE+ are essentially the same price and the LE has more stuff (and is more limited), this should keep the LE price high.

If the SE+ was a lot cheaper than the LE, then the LE owners might see the LE prices in the future not being as high.

I received an email from Ryan White yesterday:

"Thank you for owning all of our remakes. I am happy to inform you that I will be matching your serial number for your Cactus Canyon LE."

Looks like I'm going to get a matching number!

Robert

Quoted from explosiveegg:

Why do you want your LE numbers to match?

Because I can.

I heard that there is a mechanism that didn't work as well as Doug wanted so he is having it remade with some modifications.

My game won't be unloaded until tonight.
So I can go get it tomorrow morning.

Quoted from Jarbyjibbo:

We need an early delivery game owner to reach out to Cliff to be his test fit champion. Who's going to sign up for that and reach out to him?

I stopped by and spoke to Cliffy this morning and asked him about CCr protectors. He doesn't know if his existing Williams sets will exactly fit CCr.

He did note that MMr & MBr fit the Williams sets perfectly, but that CGC did change AFMr playfield so his existing sets didn't fit perfectly.

So, he can't guarantee that his existing CC sets will fit CCr. He has sold a few CC sets to future CCr owners, so results should be coming soon.

I've offered him my CCr LE when I get it, but this issue should be resolved by then.

Quoted from TeamUp:

Would any of our early SE owners or owner like to give us an "early" review or comments on the game?
We are waiting.. lol Thanks in advance as I know someone will come through!

My buddy Kevin just gave a review of the SE, in the ratings section.

Robert

#5819 2 years ago
Quoted from Richard-NBA-SF2:

Just read it. Thanks for sharing! Richard

Kevin said he played it for a couple hours and just looked at it for about a half hour.

It's at a public location, so he couldn't open it up.

He said that the flipper issue could be an artifact of the bats not being positioned in the location he was used to.

Robert

PS: He may post more impressions here sometime.
