So 'original' means as shipped by WMS about 20 years ago (buggy and incomplete), 'enhanced' means that CGC fixed/finished the original planned CactusCanyon functionality before WMS pulled the plug in 1999 or so (and ended software development on CC) , and then 'Lyman's code' will be his interpretation of what CCr's theme can do given the playfield toys/hardware that exists (almost a blank canvas in software). I think the BIG wildcard is the new Lyman version since it may or may not happen, may come at any price (to be determined later), and may or may not be interesting to the same people that like CC to begin with, but may be attractive to a new audience.

They used to be called "Value Added Distributors" for a reason, because they ADDED VALUE in some way, shape or fashion. I am 100% in support of value added distributors who help the customer before, during or after the sale. The best ones do all three and are available and approachable. Great distributors allow companies like CGC to scale, become stronger, etc. That said, it's important for CGC to verify the business plan, business ethics and value-added approaches that any distributor uses to conduct their business. Without this verification/scrutiny, CGC loses customer respect, long-term revenues, and customer satisfaction (which starts with order placement, not when the NIB arrives)

If you read the store website at PPS, they are adding the topper "priority" purchase status for anyone that buys an SE from the PPS website, "If CGC decides to make the topper separately available". Since PPS has an inside track in the whole project, I think its fair to say a topper purchased somehow as an accessory is a very real possibility. Additionally, if you read doug duba's most recent note on this thread, he strongly implies that a future feature upgrade kit will likely not be limited to software alone. Putting those two together and there is a likelihood that ALL owners will be embraced in some fashion. (Perhaps a set of swinging saloon doors and a new software image too?).
