The rumor has become official.

Been a long time coming. But it appears we are close.

So 4 to 6 weeks for license approval, does that just mean PPS has to approve everything and it’s good to go?

No, WMS approval.

Sounds like new code, LE will have topper with mini game and there will be three models like the other games, I assume classic, special and limited edition.

#6 2 years ago

So looking forward to seeing it. Won't be long especially since they've already started making them.

#7 2 years ago

If Lyman is on code, it will be hard to resist this one! Shoot, even if he isn't on code, it will be.

#8 2 years ago

Hot damn, can't wait to see the finished game.
They have done great with the first 3 titles.
Cheers.

Not super excited but the more the merrier!
I think they went far enough down the AFM/MM/MB ruleset route and I used to be really pumped aboot CC until I got to play it a ton; sort of over it. Of course how diff'rent could they make it now? Maybe a lot.
BUT, plenty of other people didn't get the chance; so that's awesome.

No idea who's on code. I'm sure we'll learn more as things get approved and the move into production is in full swing.

Where is the info

#12 2 years ago

Just getting bits and pieces from the SFG expo right now, hoping to get more info on pricing for all 3 models tonight.

Yep, it's going to be all about the new code. Something deeper (and more complete, of course) than what was before. And less 'COLLECT YOUR BOUNTY!'

Soooo....is the whole thing going to be new? Is it just the theme with a brand new PF and all?
I mean that would really really change things.

#15 2 years ago

Is it a remake or a new game? Playfield is old or new?

#16 2 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

Oo, I hope so. If so, I'm in!

#17 2 years ago

Down for an LE hyped on this one. Hope someone posts the seminar in full.

CGC has developed a new pinball Operating System

The game will have remake firmware as well as new enhanced code

CGC consulted with original CC team to understand the original intent - if game had been fully finished

When asked if code would contain elements of CC Continued he was coy with the answer - but my take was they implemented original B/W designers plan in lieu of CCC ideas

Pricing ?

#20 2 years ago

I wonder what else they could or have done with the train to implement it into game play, it’s a cool toy but from memory it doesn’t have a lot of use in the original game.

Wow, I can’t believe they are actually doing it. I hope they can do CCC. Really interesting because this game is a perfect mix of “remaking a classic” AND building a totally original machine with brand new rules

Well you have a chance of having a worse layout though; that would be a pretty big screw up
I guess better rules could make up for it...but could take awhile unless they really are fully done

CGC games keep getting good tech updates. This game should be really cool and I am glad for the people that have been waiting. Can't wait to play one and see the cool topper, but I'll probably skip this one and hold out for WH2Or!

#24 2 years ago

I have not seen a CC in 15+ years. Will be nice to play one again.

Whitewater has to be decently far down the list! It’s not that pricey, is it? Plus they made a good amount

If Lyman is on code this game could immediately be a contender for game of the year for 2021. That would really be something for CCr to win game of the year in 2021…but Lyman is absolutely that good.

Unless he's been working on the code already hes going to need more time than 2021, if history holds up.
Hmm...then again not being at Stern on multiples and maybe actuslly getting a physical machine would really speed things up! That would be kick ass.

#30 2 years ago

Just my price prediction:

LE $11,500 / Premium $8500 / Classic $7500

It would be incredible if Lyman was working on CCr, I couldn’t think of a better person for the job! But I don’t want to get my hopes up... it sure would be sweet though!

I have a feeling Lyman is involved. Or at least some aspect of the original crew.

That’s a $2500 increase for the LE’s

Sorry, didn't they already say he was going to CGC? Did I misread that?

i know the pin market is stupid, but historically the cgc games have come in at more reasonable prices

Better CGC getting it than having 300 flippers on Pinside getting it.

Glad Butch ended with a great company. Super nice pinball guy .

I know I’m in the minority, but I’m definitely hoping against Lyman being involved. Or at least someone telling him no shot multipliers. Man I hate shot multipliers.

They are always building ahead at CGC

#44 2 years ago

Can we pause and reflect that they cannot even seem to put a PPT into presentation mode? lol The taskbar showing on a company presentation is comical.

This is what I was told-

i'd love to see wh2o remade as well. but yeah it won't be soon. 2030's at the current pace, maybe early 2040's. i'll still be around.
