Do you know how many limited edition models are being built for export?
I heard about half but that sounds like a lot

Quoted from Only_Pinball:Agreed. I think they have no idea and will just look bad if they miss another date.
Not if they are open about it.
The complete lack of information for three months is far worse than giving another best estimate, even if subsequently missed.
Quoted from PtownPin:I asked my distributor for a status report as the silence is annoying (for me at least).
I am guessing it was met with more silence?

In my case indeed! Last week asked my distributor for an update, still waiting for a reply......
My distributor just told me “Still waiting”…
What I expected, but wanted to double check!
Hope everyone is doing well!
RIP Lyman
Richard

Nope they responded within a few hours. Per their email they have nothing to report as they haven't heard anything from CGC

My distributor in Germany told me that out of 1250 LE games, only 250 go overseas, so 1000 remain in the US.
Has anyone local thought about applying to work there just to get a scoop of the factory and see if anything is going on lol
I saw the video today posted from Stern about the Rush build and it’s only a minute long. Would be cool if CGC could do something like that for CCR
Quoted from TheCnyPinGuy:be cool [if] CGC could do something like that
It’d be cool if they did anything …
Quoted from jfh:Now that’s limited!
What if they cannot find 15 people to buy them?

Post Fixed
Wasn’t meant to be taken negative
Just a quick run through the factory to show off what’s happening

You may be disappointed..

I am not being negative, I am being serious. Pinball machines in some of the EU countries cost a fortune so the market is small.
Quoted from EricHadley:Mikey want Cactus Canyon LE. Where is Mikeys game? Where?!?!?
Always wondered what he was thinking.

Yeah I don't think a video of nothing being built is a good selling tool for them. Lol

Me too. Tks.
At least it is looking like I wont have to worry about a winter delivery and snow-blowing a path to the basement walkout.

Possibly next winter......

Same I was thinking it might have to live in the garage for a bit.
So cold here right now.
It's a bit difficult to build these without the necessary parts. Supply chain issues are still a major problem. Try buying a new video card.
I wonder if many of these shortages are deliberate to drive up prices. Very frustrating but I doubt CG is dragging their feet on this.

until they become more transparent .... I would say they are ... if they were ready to release more than a year ago something just doesn't add up here!
eventually they will ship but not doing themselves any favors !

I have a brand new Evga FTW3 Ultra 3080 unopened if anyone wants it for cost. I ordered it and the water cooled version over a year ago and they just came in a week ago. My son wanted the water cooled one so the other is up for grabs!
(Sorry for the off topic post)

Is that non-LHR?
Quoted from P1nhead:Is that non-LHR?
It's LHR (no mining) - EVGA switched everyone in the wait queue to the non-mining cards (as did the other manufacturers). I'm glad they did or else no one would ever be able to buy a card for gaming.
(again - sorry for the off-topic. But maybe CGC will see our video card posts and feel compelled to pop in and give us an update!)
I haven't heard anything, but not sure I'd buy the back glass with ZERO indication on when you'll get the game....
Quoted from jfh:At the risk of getting this thread back on track …
Has anyone heard anything from PPS lately regarding the mirrored backglasses that were supposed to start shipping this month?
Did they say that the backglass was supposed to ship in February? I never seen a timeline on that.
Quoted from PtownPin:I haven't heard anything, but not sure I'd buy the back glass with ZERO indication on when you'll get the game....
Well, that’s the beauty of what PPS did.
Many backglass orders have already been paid for in full. Since most distributors listed them as special orders they aren’t returnable.
Initial orders had to be placed in December, presumably to determine the size of the initial (only?) run so it’s unclear how many will be available in the future. PPS gets money upfront to help fund production, sellers get their cut and we wait for delivery. Absolutely nothing wrong with that model, but I can’t imagine PPS is going to make hundreds more for future stock.
Quoted from jfh:Well, that’s the beauty of what PPS did.
I'm a little confused here. Did you order through PPS?
I have an email from Sara stating my name is on the list for the backglass, but no money has been requested at this point of time.
from Sara:
"They will be $249+shipping and will expected to be available in Q1 2022."
No invoice - so PPS seems to be floating the funding.
Quoted from sizzler747:Did they say that the backglass was supposed to ship in February? I never seen a timeline on that.
I thought it was on the initial announcement page on the Planetary site but I can’t find it. But that estimate was on websites of multiple distributors.
Quoted from Zukidog:I'm a little confused here. Did you order through PPS?
No because PPS required you order through the distributor you ordered your game from. PPS may have different order requirements for their customers. All of the other distributor sites I’ve seen either required pay in full or deposits (though many don’t even mention the availability of the backglass). My comment was a little tongue in cheek; I’ll modify it to clarify.
Quoted from PinballGalore:I haven’t been asked for a bg payment from my distro, after confirming I’m listed for one
Same, I even offered to pay. My distro allowed me to pay in full for my machine, but said he wanted to wait for payments on the backglass and shaker.

Same
I just added the BackGlass to my LE invoice
No payment was required on my end until delivery

I'm on the PPS "interested" list, but haven't been asked to pay for anything. If I was asked I'd probably pass until I actually knew I was getting a game. PPS has been great to work with so I'd be surprised if they required customers to pay for a back glass before they got the game.
Quoted from transprtr4u:Backglass before the machine like the cart before the horse !
A DIY approach where they just sent us parts of a game as they were available would be kind of fun (for some of us):
February - backglass
March - cabinet
April - populated PF
May - boards
June - topper
(Not advocating for this - just saying it would be enjoyable for me personally)

IKEA Pinball

Like an Eaglemoss Kit !!
You get 1 part per month with a small story about the game
In 24 months you have your completed Collectable
Quoted from jfh:All of the other distributor sites I’ve seen either required pay in full or deposits
My dealer also did not require a deposit for the glass.
