Quoted from WizardsCastle:

In my experience...
JJP had slow service, but had problematic games due to the huge amount of stuff they put in their games. When I bought Dialed In however, and had my issues, Jack personally called me and went way above and beyond to get me sorted out. Best experience I've had. But the company may have since changed.
Spooky has really friendly and quick service, but their product is cheap and uninspired. I know loads of fans will disagree, but aside from there playfields (which are definitely durable) the build quality of the games themselves are the worst I've ever seen. My TNA and R&M all sound hollow and clunky when they're played, and they put barely anything into the games. It's as though they just grab a few random parts of the shelves at Pinball Life and quickly whip a game together.
CGC was the best of both quality and service. They offered really good (not great) service, and I feel like the games are made exceptionally well, and have lots in them. Really good value IMO. My MMr was rock solid, and I still have my AFMr and have had almost no issues.
No need to mention Stern. We all know they just pump these titles put, but I will say, the Elwin games are an exception. I have owned them all so far, 2 are still here bolted to the floor, and I'll likely buy every game he put out because I know they'll be fun, challenging, and creative.
Just my thoughts...

Yep. The trick with new Sterns is to put a 25 pnd weight in the cab. Then it doesn't feel like a wobbly picnic table when you play.

Jjp has fallen to the worst in service and quality.

So, to solve the mystery … EFL means?

Quoted from Yelobird:

Not sure why that would matter? Both my Bally and Williams slots have logos.
[quoted image]

Yeah both companies still use their logos so I'm not sure why Bally allows it and Williams does not. I would think they would want the logo out there as much as possible. Especially on a beautiful machine like that.

Sterns are so lightweight i consider tilt-warnings extra balls.

CGC has games boxed and ready to ship, they are not the hold up. I know that they had some major supply chain issues during the initial Covid outbreak. They had sorted through those and things were on the right path. Now here we are again in the midst of another surge and I am sure they want to make sure that supply chain does not dry up. Final approval should hopefully come soon and they will roll out the first batch. I am sure that roll out will also be dependent on the ability to keep up with initial demand.

End of the week for news on the CCR LE’s. Getting anxious.

It could be up to 10/1 technically according to Ryan. Unless you have a secret.....

#460 2 years ago

I wonder if we should be holding them to that 4 to 6 weeks. Seems like everything gets pushed back lately. Getting very excited to hear more.

No secret. Just basing it off of previous dates reported. If up to 10/1? Ok. I’m on the LE list. If I’m digging it, I can sell a kidney.

Check your email……but don’t get too excited.

Latest is 1-3 months before release. Does that mean ready in box or basic info about the game features?

It could be classic and se's ship sooner and only LE's are months?

Where is this information coming from?

Info is from Sara at PPS, wow 2 to 3 months for LE roll out is much longer wait than I thought.

Oh damn! That sucks!

#475 2 years ago

Did they say when I can order from my distributor? or Prices?

#476 2 years ago

What you read above is all the info. Nothing specific.

#477 2 years ago

I thought they let customers pick up their games at their facility in the past? Sounds like only shipping is allowed now for an additional $300.

#478 2 years ago

I wasn't going to get and LE, but for the limited or whatever the one in the middle is, are we able to sign up at PPS with sarah for that or just LEs?

Just LEs

Not according to the email I received. Looks like LEs go first and it’s 2-3 months which is their best guess.

Zero info other than time frame. Told to just sit tight and wait it out.

I didn't see anything about LE's being first, may of missed that.

I guess that’s open for debate, but that’s the way I read it. She said they are not taking orders for any other models at this time so I assume LEs are first.

Planetary is only selling LE's. It's been said that CGC has games in boxes ready to ship, so it sounds like the non LE games will ship first. I say to let them work the kinks out on the non LE's first then build the LE's at a later date.

On the list for a LE and eager for more details.

Anyone heard about the pricing on the 3 tiers ?

Scratch 3, they said no classic, just se and le

#488 2 years ago

I'm just hoping the SE is less then 8k minus shipping of course, and I don't mean 7999, lol.

#489 2 years ago

Looking forward to hearing the news from CGC. Hopefully it’s soon!

I got into pinball late. I really wish I could get my hands on a NIB AFM. Any one know where I could get a new AFM remake or MM remake? Why can’t they do more runs?

I guess we won’t know until they revel it? There should be a classic version, not everyone wants the bling at the increased prices.

#494 2 years ago

So classic CCr won’t come with a regular DMD sized screen w/upgraded dots like MMr?

#495 2 years ago

A little disappointing to hear we need to wait another 1-3 months to the reveil, but I’m a patient guy.
They announced it too early I guess.

Quoted from Faust:

It's especially disappointing since the guy who did the presentation in mid-August at SFGE claimed to have tons of games ready to box up once a single part was received... he was talking about 4-5 weeks back then, and that was over a month ago!

#497 2 years ago

I’m looking forward to purchasing an CCrLE, but im a b/w purist, and wouldn’t be disappointed if I had to choose an SE over an LE if I had to wait another 3 months for an LE

I am assuming the standard version is the "classic". Still 3 models, right?
