Quoted from girloveswaffles:Torties for the win!
She's awesome. We adopted her and found out later she had FeLV. Super awesome cat, though, and she loves to be brushed.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Saw this yesterday, had to post it here for you:

Our carpet is cream colored, so she's easy to find. Plaid on the bed helps, too.
DSC_3977 (resized).jpgGot my project Wizard up and running (minus a few lights and other gremlins). My good buddy, Eli, was helping my wife play a game today.
At the end of the video, he just sat there with his paw curled. He was pretty sure he had caught that evil silver ball.
No photo or video proof but I brought a Royal Flush home today and got a scare. Had it on the dolly with the head off, got it in the house and set it in the entry way. Moved it a few minutes later towards the basement stairs and set it back down. Out crawled my cat, Eli. Good thing it wasn’t going into the basement today. He would’ve been in for a rough ride.
Quoted from mollyspub:Here's phoniex checking out my old BSD playfield.
Reminds me of my first cat, Maggie. Very pretty. The playfield's nice too.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:Thanks for the suggestion, but we tried the pill pockets and the little bugger wants nothing to do with them. He also won't eat wet food or baby food. We bought about 10 different kinds of wet food and he snubs his nose at all of them.
I've reached out to my vet to see about either making a liquid or being able to complex a few of these together to lower the sheer number of pills.
Our vet used Roadrunner Pharmacy to compound drugs for us and to get them in liquid form. It won't be available for all things but could cut the amount of pills. Liquids are way easier to administer to cats.
Check the list for your current meds and see if they are available in liquid.

Quoted from Captainhook:Romeo and Juliet have claimed it already. Thank you again "Project Pinball" for the free machine. [quoted image]
Yes! I declare that all future pinball machine raffle winners must come from the "Cats and Pinballs... " thread and must post a photo of said cats on the new machine.
Congrats on the new cat tree.
When people complain that Pinside is less helpful these days, I blame cats.
Trying to help out a BSD owner and crack open the game and the manual. Whichever one I need, is the one he gravitates towards. The best thing I ever did was buy a wireless keyboard that I can turn off, otherwise, he'd be helping me type this message too.
IMG_E1986 (resized).JPGIMG_E1987 (resized).JPGQuoted from pacmanretro:Soooo....your saying I should buy some "decoy" pinball machines?
I'm thinking decoy human on the decoy machine. Set up a mannequin with hands on the flippers and see if the cat will hang out there instead of on the game I'm playing.
Quoted from Nokoro:You should keep the box for a while to give them a fort to play in.
That's the plan. Katniss, the torby, likes to rip boxes to shreds with her teeth. This box might be beyond her abilities.
Quoted from pacmanretro:Wasn't that a song by the band Aqua?
First thing that popped in my head as well.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:Siberian!! Nice to know the breed name. Our kitty is just a mix breed, but I swear theres some Siberian in her somewhere. The barrel chest, short legs, fuzzy feet, coat texture, etc....[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I would think your kitty has some Maine Coon lineage.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:It's so terribly difficult.
And it never gets easier.
@fairground Spoil little Asra and remember the good times with Dharma.
[goes and hugs his cats before going back to work]
Sorry to hear about your friends. I still hear and see the shadows of all my previous furry friends.

Pinsider zarco needs our love and support.
Quoted from Nokoro:Has he read that “Cat and Mouse” book behind him to the left?
No need. He thinks he's a dog.
Quoted from Birdnest:Jube used up another life yesterday - somehow he got stuck upside down with his back paw stuck in the bottom v of the bar stool. Ended up with claws completely pointing the wrong direction - the emergency vet said they had never seen that much damage with out a broken foot. Felt terrible pulling his leg up the v but there was no way he was getting out. Was a long expensive evening with surgery required but he is back home recovering. We have had the stools 20 years with multiple pets and never had any issues till yesterday.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Glad he's on the road to recovery. Weird things just happen sometimes.
Quoted from Birdnest:Wife - Do you allow the cats on the counter? Me - of course not
They allow themselves, of course.
Quoted from RipleYYY:beautifull cat, cute fur/colors
Thanks. She’s a Torby. Part Tabby, part Torty. All attitude.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:The pose that says "There's a can opener being used somewhere!".
She could see out the window. Much excite.
Quoted from Pin_Guy:My cat after playing 1 game of Metallica[quoted image]
You have to feed them before and after every game.
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:Look at those freaking pirate pantaloons!!!!!
Maine Coon Pantaloons?
Quoted from BubbaK:My vet told me our cat had allergies and to give 1/2 zyrtec. I've tried numerous times and she will not swallow it. She will not eat it in a pill pocket, she is just not having it. I expected to find poop in my shoe after my last attempt. I gave up.
We use spreadable cheese to give cat pills. Might give it a try.
Quoted from girloveswaffles:Stern Electronics Dracula?
Yep.
Had to replace a few 2n5060s on the Light
board and left the head open.
Quoted from grantopia:She heard that interactive toppers are all the rage for Sterns these days.
[quoted image]
But she coulda been Mousin' Around.
Quoted from Pinkitten:Our cats are now 14 and 10, and the older cat has kidney disease. Losing weight and drinking tons of water. She’s still eating normally, acting herself and using the box. But we are spoiling her while we can.
Our old man with kidney disease has been on Weruva soft food for several years now. It helps keep him more hydrated and is low in phosphorous. He also gets Azodyl in pill form once a day to help with the renal side of things. He prefers his in spreadable cheese.
Quoted from TheLaw:Doesn't bring down the mood at all brother; this IS the place for it.
I'll be drinking one for Jarvis tonight!
I agree. One should never apologize for grief. As a pet owner, it’s something you never get used to and it always helps to share.
