Great breed. He does look annoyed lol! Interesting spot to be a tree dweller though.

Our Siberian cat Karolina has only recently been introduced to our game room, the HArdcade since it was under construction until about a month ago. She’s slowly getting used the noises and walks under the pins when they’re on and being played but hasn’t really gotten much interest in hopping up top or chasing the balls. The closest she gets is chasing the shadows of the light shows and likes to chill on the bottom of SCI. She keeps "Prairie dogging" watching Ms Pac Man on the attarct mode wondering what's going on with it.

Quoted from sammiesguys:I know it's not pinball, but it's related. I was taking a picture of the Predator action figure I was thinking of using as a topper. My cat had other ideas. He jumped up on the table and attacked it:
Maine Coone or Siberian? Great pic BTW!
Quoted from sammiesguys:Thanks! Im not sure what he is, I found him in pretty bad shape in the woods about seven years ago. I got him patched up and he's been with me ever since.
Looks like you did a fine job! Any other pics of him?
Quoted from Muppet_Man:This is our other cat Bobby, who is weight challenged (Bob the Blob is her nickname). While I was waiting for a new piece of glass for my Creech, she got on it so often, we went with the blanket to at least stop her kipping on the playfield itself.
That's awesome! She has great taste lol!
Quoted from Alan_L:What a beautiful Maine Coon. You have a ploofy tail not, but that cat has it for you.
Thanks Alan. Actually she's a Siberian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_cat). They very similar with Siberian's being mostly if not all, Hypo-allergenic. We lost our Maine Coone to bad health a few years ago and miss him to this day.
Quoted from Aurich:One of my cats uses Mystic to reach the top of a bookshelf. She likes being high up.

Nice, another tree dweller!
Sorry to hear about your cat. Any pics?
Quoted from sparechange1974:Our 26 lb cat passed away a little over a year ago before I was heavy into pinball. Cats have always been a part of my life and we'll adding one to the family again. I've been wondering if the glass will break if a large cat jumps from the back box to the play field glass??
Is anyone worried about scratches? I was going to ad a door to the basement to prevent, but would love to hear experiences..
Quoted from arcademojo:Nope, no need to worry about it. My wife and I breed purebred Maine Coons. Large males average 25 to 30 pounds around.
Very cool! We miss our Maine Coon. We now have a Siberian which is very similar to them yet hypoallergenic or nearly.
Quoted from JosephT:Thanks for not taking my comment above too serious, I was in a rare mood last night! Only problem I have with these critters is that they are the only thing in this world that I am allergic to.
So clearly they must be evil...
Apology accepted.
But if you do like cats and allergic, consider a Siberian. Ours tested as 0. http://cfa.org/breeds/breedssthrut/siberian.aspx
Quoted from klr650:We were told by someone that our cats might be "Norwegian Forest Cats" but I haven't got a clue. We got our cats (two brothers) from the Humane Society.
Very possible! We have a Siberian and they're similar. Beautiful guys there!
Quoted from JeffZee:She was a Pixiebob. They don't always come with tails. Lost her to kidney failure this past summer. We'll probably go cat shopping in January.
Sorry to hear that. Very good looking kitty.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Visiting the in laws this week
and they have lots of cats (at least 10)
managed to get a photo of one of my favs.
His name is Tangelo aka little Larry,
but since watching A Cristmas Story a dozen times yesterday
I am calling him Scut Farkus, (I swear he has yellow eyes).
Larry looks great. What breed?
Quoted from mrossman5:Cute cat! Love the color.
They call the Siberian’s in this color Golden Mackerel. It’s is a very cool color and striping.
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:I think you mean, "Down Simba!"
She was punished for that by only getting two treats that night.
Mine in pictures is glass. You need to buy more pinball machines to replace your balls lol. I replace mine yearly and whenever I get a new machine. I can’t take credit for idea. @cyroute idea.
Quoted from klr650:Mario and Luigi taking a Pinball break...
[quoted image]
Very cute pic! What breed?
Quoted from klr650:Not sure, we thought they were Norwegian forest cats but we really don't know...
Very possible. Also look similar to Siberians which we have. Both from similar families but all are awesome.
Another advocate for raw food and the carnivore diet (if you can get your cats to switch!). Wife and I weren’t that knowledgeable about raw feeding before we got our Siberian, but was part of agreement when we got her.
This is what she likes and what she eats. Primal and Stella & Chewy’s.

Nothing like sitting in a hotel room in Malaysia crying at 3:30am because you lost one of your furkids.
My wife can't even go into the room where his favorite cat house and his bed are.
Hang in there buddy. We all understand the pain. God bless Calvin
Karolina had to have 5 teeth pulled on Friday. Gingivitis got to them despite us doing everything we can to help her knowing this. She was a trooper and today she’s getting back to her old self. She has the slow release meds on her tail hence the pink tape and shave.

For those who asked about Karolina, she’s doing fine after nearly two weeks from the teeth removals. She was pretty wigged out the first few days but back to herself. She looks funny with the poodle like tail from the slow release meds but we don’t shame her.
She’s liking the martians.

Side note, I don’t know if she knows how to solder?!

Yeah she’s still recovering from the slow release meds for teeth removal. Karolina was always a neutral cat (she was a foster mommy) that another kitty breeding mom took a swipe at her and caused that little nip out of her ear. She’s not a fighter nor is the breed. She’s small for a typical Siberian.
Siberian cats are still pretty new to NA and my wife got her from Forest Wind in Buffalo. They’re nearly hypoallergenic and have a great temperament much like Maine Coons. For anyone interested about the breed, this is who we got her through and highly recommend. Not paid but worth sharing if you aren’t able to rescue. https://www.sweetsiberians.com/
Quoted from Electrocute:Big mouth! Hope that’s just a yawn.
Yep, just a yawn lol. Apparently I was boring her.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:She has one. Redone cabinet with new decals, CPR Playfield, new plastics, new displays, LEDs, etc, etc.
[quoted image]
Sandra has this smug look on her face about her up there too lol!
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:Does anyone else have a cat who actively tries to PLAY the games? We have 2 cats, one of whom is clueless. But his sister ALWAYS runs downstairs after me and immediately jumps onto a game(even if I’m down there to do something else)
This morning, I booted STTNG and TH. when the ball goes into the trough, she -GRABS THE PLUNGER- every time. I’ve held her up to the game in player position, and she wraps her paws around the plunger and pulls. She’s not strong enough to move it much, but it DOES move. (This is on TH; she can’t figure out the trigger on STTNG).
Then when I’m playing, she grabs my hand and moves it out of the way so she can push the right flipper button. Over and over again. This morning she started biting my hand to get it out of the way, so she can hit it. I am not making this up, this is all a regular occurrence! I’m gonna get my wife to take a video
You got to get video of this!
Karolina was thankful from Spyderturbo007 for Violet’s Christmas gift! She can’t stop licking it to death; bag or no bag!
Quoted from Pinkitten:Happy Birthday, Kitty.
She meowed thank you! She loves this 90 LX seat back that I replaced.
F4FE7FA3-8882-4658-8375-52C6D7A8DE93 (resized).jpegQuoted from Darkwing:My cat hates fireworks, and we live right across the street from west world where they do barrett-jackson, and of course, fireworks. Figured out I can distract the cat by turning on every pinball machine in the living room, cranking the volumes, and starting games on all of them at the same time. Keeps him from getting scared and hiding behind the washing machine.
Operation Distract Kitty: Successful
That’s a great idea! Ours does too as mostly most pets do. On the plus side I’m super jealous that you’re by BJ.
Quoted from Fairground:Penny only has 27 teeth, my daughter's rescue cat, had to have 3 cracked teeth removed, the vet said she must have been mistreated before being rescued.
Poor Penny. We had to have a few teeth removed from Karolina too.
Karolina had a bump/cyst on her right cheek a few months ago. The vet removed it and it came back twice. She wasn’t bothered by it, but it she had surgery to have it cut out last Thursday. She was pretty loopy but bounced back and acting like nothing happened since. Very thankful and was sent out to see if it’s cancerous. Waiting to hear back on this...

We heard back from the vet. The long and short of it is the results they got back indicate it could be something, but not likely. So clear as mud. But they said keep an eye on her and make sure no other of these show up. Assuming nothing else does, she's good.
But the good news is she is certainly feeling happy and it is healing well. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it and she's apparently not "too stressed" lol!

She’s been helping me finish up redoing my buddy’s 69 vette seats. She needed a nap after supervising. She leads a stressful life!

SQUEEK! What a good looking cute guy.
Anyone's cats love chasing the mech springs? Occasionally I'll be doing a swap and a spring will go flying. Sometimes to never be seen again until a few months later she's playing with a spring...
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I converted my old pinball room into an office a few months ago so ignore the yet to be hung stuff and the wire dangling down the wall for now. Anyway, I occasionally have clients at my house to demo tech for them, so I purchased a second chair for the other side of my desk. I was working in there one morning when I looked up and saw Violet. I asked her if she had an appointment.....apparently she didn't need one.[quoted image]
You apparently have some of the best customers!
Quoted from Jenniebear:I adopted a kitty a couple of days ago. She is three years old. Her owner gave her up because they got new hardwood floors.

//]]>She is very sweet but very afraid. They gave me anxiety medication at shelter to give her for the next couple weeks. I hope that she and my current cat and dog get along, fingers crossed.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
What a cute girl. Shame on those a-holes to get rid of her for hardwood floors.
Quoted from mollyspub:Glad theres a phone near by incase she wants to ask her friends over to play some pinball!
I hope she doesn’t watch this or she will. She’s too smart at times.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:You’re way to late on that one. How do you think Violet calls her all the time?
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I had a few people over on Saturday and Violet came downstairs to hang out. She loves the carpet in the game room for some reason. Maybe it's the memory foam. Anyway, she runs downstairs at 100mph, around the bar and immediately lays down on the carpet and starts rolling around.
A little while later, I saw her at the other end of the room watching TV. I'm going to have to talk to the vet about her TV viewing.
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
I think you need to call 1-800-Gambling Problem for her!
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Bi bi back in her usual place.[quoted image]
What a pretty girl.
Quoted from NewmanJerry:Long story short, I didn't care for cats because of allergies but my one kid said how about a Devon Rex??? They're supposedly a very low in dander so I agreed...... But was nervous cause my allergies around cats from earlier years in life were very bad... Man, I love her to death and she is just so mischievous .... Her hair is super soft also, love the Devon Rex breed...
[quoted image]
Awesome you found one that will work with you. Siberians are another great breed that is low to no allergens.
Karolina has checked and reviewed her work and considers it now completed. Feel free to roll around as she did.

I taught Karolina to fist bump with her her head. So when Thing comes she head bumps lol.
She’s really on the ball!

[quoted image]
What a cute guy! I love the playboy lounge pose.
Quoted from Alan_L:Yeah, my wife and I have to periodically deal with Shitty Kitty butt with Maine Coon.
Lmao having had a Maine Coone and a Siberian now, 100% agree with that.
Quoted from ThatOneDude:Odin thinks I misaligned the guide. He may be right. (and he also noted that the gate is backwards, but it's just to determine location).
[quoted image][quoted image]
Cats are the best supervisors.
Quoted from Electrocute:Yes, I do. Tonight they’ve all chosen Sky Jump.
[quoted image]
What a bunch of cuties warming up!
Quoted from TitusPullo:Salem in his favorite spot. He has always hung out on the old pool table since he was a kitten.
[quoted image]
Cutie!
That’s a good face. “Like WTH are you doing?!”
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:A buddy came over for a few beers and Violet wanted to hang out. [quoted image]
GREAT shot!!!
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I was counting the payouts for leagues on Wednesday and Violet decided she was going to help. [quoted image]
Supervisor counting her money too.
IMG_9014 (resized).jpegOh man Chris. That is such a horrible call to get! So happy Hobbes is still with us! We’ve had our recent scares with Karolina but not that much.
Quoted from gumnut01:She’s very striking to look at. What sort of breed is she?
She’s a Siberian.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Doing a little PM on the wife's Audi this morning, it seems I have a grease kitty instead of monkey as Thomas lends a paw.[quoted image][quoted image]
They are the best supervisors.
I remember you saying you had it in yours and made it the reason why we did. I loved it in the garage for the past many years and after some heavy days of rain 2 years ago, I had to figure out a good plan. I had it under the machines for the last two years and finally did the rest of the game room. Karolina seems to like it.
And a huge thanks to Spyderturbo007 for the catnip toy Violet gave her. She has been enjoying it!
IMG_9551 (resized).jpegQuoted from dmacy:Some prayers for Karolina. Too much to type and not in the best space to explain. Tomorrow is going to be a good or very bad day.
[quoted image]
Thank you all! So not bad news. Not good news. No teeth issues as we were thinking that was it. Not eating much. Didn’t want to drink water. Very odd for her. Drooling, etc. The vet found some food that was jammed in her teeth and I’ve had that before. Even her cancer mass on her nose isn’t really pushing on anything. After settling down when she got home she seems better. Heather said she’s eating all her food and drinking water. There’s more details but don’t want to bore anyone…
Very thankful to come home and have her come downstairs to greet me!!!!
