What a beautiful Maine Coon. You have a ploofy tail not, but that cat has it for you.

Thanks Alan. Actually she's a Siberian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_cat). They very similar with Siberian's being mostly if not all, Hypo-allergenic. We lost our Maine Coone to bad health a few years ago and miss him to this day.
Quoted from Coyote:Yeah, I often do. (Which is probably good in this case.. if I had closed it and THEN started a game while she was in there... no telling what would happen.)
This happened to me on my checkpoint.... I started playing and heard loud meowing....opened the coin door and she shot out... But my cat still enjoys blocking everyones view that wants to play pinball

...and then he scratched.

Is that the breed? Short legs?
Kind of. They're commonly referred to as Munchkins, but they're not technically a breed because it's essentially Dwarfism in cats. When he was a kitten he was the same height as a beer can. It doesn't affect him at all, he can reach all the high points of the house just like regular cats.

Great picture.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:This is the first time one of our cats have decided to jump on the machine. Her name is Violet and we got her the end of last year as a rescue.

I'm pretty sure she was more interested in that box.........weirdo cats & their love for boxes.
Quoted from Coyote:This scared the crap out of her, and she barrelled out of the cabinet, right into my groin.
Extra Ball! *ouch*

Funny, this was.. 6 or 7 years ago. To this day, as soon as I turn on the game and it does it's "Bong", she will go flying out of the basement and up the stairs. It's left a permanent 'run away!' reflex in her.

"Drop mech is mine...pop mech is mine..."
Hey cat/pin-heads,
So I'm thinking about getting myself a whiskerbeast. How worried do I need to be about the little fuzzbutt using the cabinet of my pins as scratching posts? If I give him/her plenty of scratching post action will they leave the pins alone or am I just asking for trouble?
I never have a problem with mine, but every cat is different. If you're really worried about it? You could wrap your pins legs in sisal rope.

I guess the rope would be more attractive target than the cabinet. I'll think that over. Thanks.

I don't think you need to worry about a cat hurting a machine. There is nothing on a pinball machine for a cat to dig their claws into. Cats like things such as carpet and woven fabric to do their claw shedding/scratching.
I've never had a problem with mine. You just have to make sure your cat(s) have activities. Both of mine have a cat tree and scratching posts plus more little mice/toys then I ever had as a kid. They have never touched a couch or chair or anything. As long as they have things that are their own, a clean box, and proper vet care they are smart little guys.

yup! Mine is only destructive when she isn't getting attention from a human and wants it. Make sure to play with them and wear them out! Oh....heres a tip. Males are like garfield, females are HUGE a-holes, guess how I know...I have a female and all my friends have male cats....they never complain about their cats.....
Here's our cat Pizza playing some EBD. He's all grown up now and is totally over chasing the ball around, but I just got around to posting the vid.
Quoted from benheck:My sister's super-fat cat, sitting on the TOM I used to have.
