I posted this photo on this topic thread site about 4 yrs ago,
Compare to see how well the ivy has come back.
We had cut down a 80ft fir tree and left a 10ft stump to have a chainsaw artist
carve out a portrait of one of our cats instead of the usual bear.
In process of cutting down the tree, 12-24inch pancakes that fell to the ground with each subsequent cut&drop
tended to flatten the ivy down.
I need to slap on another coat of logwood oil on the critter
before weather gets too dry and hot to help preserve the work.

That is really cool, not the ivy.
Having Jube help with pinball repairs is tough, but having him help with the boat cover was worse - apparently jumping on the cover and making it collapse before I get the edges done is funny for a cat

Ever had a cat “help” put sheets on a bed? They go absolutely bonkers. Funniest thing watching them.

Is he ever not asleep?
The last 3or4 photos you posted,
are of him asleep.
Capture a moment when he is awake and into mischief.

I will try, he is so rambunctious, he only sits still to eat, sleep and poop.
He is so funny. So you recall he was found on the side of the road, but since bringing him into our home, he has been only an inside boy. This Saturday I was doing something outside on the porch briefly and left the door a jay, I turned around to see he snuck out, before I could scold him, he paused and decided, oh hell no, poof, he was back in the house.
I got a good chuckle out of that.

And then he sleeps.

We and his cat brothers and sisters miss him very much
So sorry for the loss of your family member Dewey. I am sure one day, you will meet again.

That is what my wife is hoping
She has been bawling her eyes out the last few days
missing her boy Dewey
along with her daughter.
She wants to meet up with them all in heaven.
Our little Black Kitty adores watching nature specials, football, and golf. She runs into the Living room whenever we put football or golf on, jumps on the entertainment center, and follows the ball in both those games. We tape PBS “Nature” for her, and she really likes the episodes with birds, big cats, or hippos. The Puma episode is basically on a loop for her. We watch Jeopardy most evenings. It’s fairly common she’ll wander in during the final Jeopardy theme music, and sit down and ask us to put on a Nature episode. Don’t tell me cats aren’t super-smart.

My cat Snake Jazz will watch anything on the T.V. that has animals on it. biggest reaction I ever got is when she saw a small kitten on my T.V. while watching "Too Cute" on Animal Planet. She jumped off the couch from on top of me and and sat down below the T.V. and kept watching until a commercial came up.
She also reacted to a puppy whining on another episode.
That's getting more and more common as displays become larger and higher resolution. Even the cats are fooled!
