This is the one thread without drama. Let’s just stop right now and admit that we all love cats and want the best for them.

#2554 3 years ago
Quoted from Captainhook:

Good pet owners don't let their cats run the streets. Here it is illegal to let them run loose

Unfortunately my landlord only allows us to keep 3 of our 15 cats inside (12 of them arw feral anyway) When other people move away and leave their cats to run wild they end up here for food and water.
At least we can do that.

#2555 3 years ago

That's great you do that for the strays. Hopefully they are fixed or you will have 30.

#2556 3 years ago

Not coincidentally, all of the things required to keep your cat safe can be purr-chased right here! We’ll explain how best you can protect all of your pets by spending at Petco!

I prefer a catio for ours. They can still go out and bring me snakes and the occasional scorpion. I take the snakes back outside but I kill the scorpions.

I am certainly not intending to promote petco. I prefer chewy.com, amazon, and petsmart over petco.

My cat hates fireworks, and we live right across the street from west world where they do barrett-jackson, and of course, fireworks. Figured out I can distract the cat by turning on every pinball machine in the living room, cranking the volumes, and starting games on all of them at the same time. Keeps him from getting scared and hiding behind the washing machine.

That’s a great idea! Ours does too as mostly most pets do. On the plus side I’m super jealous that you’re by BJ.

That's one mellow cat. If I tried to put that on my cat, I would be ripped to shreds!

The new kitten and the presiding cat finally snuggled up together and it happened to be on one of the pins!

What is the tuxedo's name?
Charlie or Groucho or Ollie or Adolph?

She’s named “Domino” after the character in Deadpool 2.

Penny only has 27 teeth, my daughter's rescue cat, had to have 3 cracked teeth removed, the vet said she must have been mistreated before being rescued.

Poor Penny. We had to have a few teeth removed from Karolina too.

Karolina had a bump/cyst on her right cheek a few months ago. The vet removed it and it came back twice. She wasn’t bothered by it, but it she had surgery to have it cut out last Thursday. She was pretty loopy but bounced back and acting like nothing happened since. Very thankful and was sent out to see if it’s cancerous. Waiting to hear back on this...

Thank you for the well wishes. We heard back from the vet. The long and short of it is the results they got back indicate it could be something, but not likely. So clear as mud. But they said keep an eye on her and make sure no other of these show up. Assuming nothing else does, she's good.

But the good news is she is certainly feeling happy and it is healing well. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it and she's apparently not "too stressed" lol!

At least Taluse chose a slightly more comfortable spot tonight.
The cat loves laying in, on and around obstacles.

Yes! He likes the warmth of the good old incandescent lights from 80's pins. I know the pin is off, but it was on before the pic. I guess you recognized the machine
