I sort of agree with that concept,
when carrying a cat, that has a tendency to be timid or scared when being picked up by humans,
i hold them snuggly and close to your body.
I tend to find cradling them like a baby works.
We have some cats though that can be handled easily and like being held like a baby over your shoulder in a burping like position.
Holding a cat too gently or away from the body; tend to get squirmy and will likely want to bolt out of your arms.
tanx ! you just make me feel positive mood with a smile on my face... as that was the name of my first cat
i remember him i should have something like 10 years old !? (now i'm 52)
Quoted from Captainhook:Romeo and Juliet have claimed it already. Thank you again "Project Pinball" for the free machine. [quoted image]
Yes! I declare that all future pinball machine raffle winners must come from the "Cats and Pinballs... " thread and must post a photo of said cats on the new machine.
Congrats on the new cat tree.
I am devastated. My baby boy Oreo died suddenly yesterday. He was my true pal and such a sweet boy. He was only 6. There were no signs of distress, and he seemed fine when I left for work. He ate his breakfast as usual, cuddled with me for a bit until I had to leave. When I came home, I found him lying under the piano. From his position it looked like he just went to sleep. No soil or blood anywhere, no vomit. Nothing strange in the litter boxes. I pray he did not suffer at all. I love you, My Oreo!
Night Moves was one of his favorite places to rest!

Very sorry for your loss...hang in there.
Oh Anthony, so very sorry!! It does sound as if he went peacefully, thank you for sharing a great photo!

Sorry for your loss. we also had one that died very similar, he was playing with our other cat and then just drop dead from a heart attack. He was only three years old.
Awwww. That’s terrible. We just lost our oldest, so if you want someone to talk to, please reach out.
I’m so very sorry for your loss.

What the hell! So sorry to hear that, and only 6!. What a horrible way to come home. At least he went peacefully.

Aw, hell, I'm sorry.
Makes me wanna leave work early and run home and give my little shits tight hugs.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Here she is again attempting to 'help' my progress in finishing up the Motordome.
She knows RIGHT were the parts are I need, and of course proceeds to lay on them.
At least the assortment of parts bags has gotten smaller![quoted image]
I have one cat who ALWAYS does this. Whenever I head downstairs she tears down after me and jumps on whatever machine I am playing. I am currently shopping out a Capcom Pinball Magic, which is a new experience for me, as I’m used to WPC pins.
Anyway I have everything all laid out in place on a table next to the machine as i clean and polish everything - and out of the corner of my eye I see her laying on half the parts, slowly pushing a growing pile of parts off the damn side! I couldn’t even be mad, how did I not think this was exactly what would happen?

Hear that...Took in a stray a couple years ago that has stolen my heart. @chippe01...so sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss, what a nightmare. Rest in peace Oreo.
Wesley agrees with Oreo. Night Moves is a great pin to rest on.

Sounds like he went quick and painless, sometimes that's better than going slow and painful. I know that probably doesn't help much but sorry for your loss.

Did you take their recommendations?

I bet the tabby likes incandescent bulbs and the fancy long hair likes LEDs.
Quoted from ToucanF16:Did you take their recommendations?
I'm sure he did. Dogs have masters, cats have staff.
When I wouldn't stop to give them a treat the orange one went outside and found some mud then walked over the glass on 2 games that I didn't have covered. Next time I will bribe them and take their recommendations. The tabby has to go into every pinball when it is opened - he is more like a dog than a cat.
Have to share this from Paul's thread on restoring a Grand Prix. Bubbs the Inspector.

What a cutie!
Quoted from iamdrunker:Sold my Champ to a buddy of mine. Looks like BOTH of these 2-1/2 year old's are having a good time.[quoted image]
That’s the future of pinball right there. If we can get them interested, they’ll keep it alive. Who says analog is dead.
Quoted from Birdnest:But if I move how will I block your view of the ball?[quoted image][quoted image]
