An interesting read.
I know our 4 cats have taken control of my wife and my lives.
Particularly when it comes to cleaning litter boxes;
we have several on each floor, including the basement,
seems that i am forever cleaning boxes,
and sweeping/dusting up litter particles that escape the box.
Probably about a third of our trash going to the curb each week is from
scooped cat litter waste in (recycled) plastic grocery bags.
Not very environmentally friendly; almost worse than baby diapers.

I am guilty of too much cat talk and not enough pinball,
so here is a photo with my not too co-operative model.

My cat's become pretty comfortable with the pins. She has a tendency of walking over the playfield glass, interrupting peoples' games when I have people over to play.

I will never be able to sell my RFM. It is now cat property.

Meh... author seemed pretty intent on expressing his dislike of cats and pulling up every possible negative "study" about cats. I only made it about halfway through... not so much because of the cat knocking but more because of the one-sidedness.

But maybe thats just because I'm mentally impared because of my cat.

I just found this thread. I love the pics. My 20 year-old tux, Taz, no longer can jump up on the pins. He never really bothered with them. I would find paw prints on the glass from time to time, but he never got as involved as some of your felines. Keep the photos coming. He does, however, like to help me read.

Okay, here's a photo of the old cat Taz supervising my LOTR from his window perch (no direct sunlight falls on the pin). My new acquisition doesn't fit in the pin room, so I put it in the family room. A couple years ago I rearranged the room so that he could climb up to his perch from the couch (which has a step stool for him to get on from the ground) when he lost the ability to make the jump from either the ground or from the back of the couch (which was about four feet away).

Pintech Kitty helping wipe down the Earthshaker playfield. Her paws fit better than mine.

I think cats just love 'clutter' and there's nothing more cluttered than a pinball game.

It's not clutter, it's toys.

We went to the SPCA yesterday (just to look) and came home with Smokey. She's seven and solid grey with yellow eyes. And she's small like our old cat. Probably just 10 pounds if that. We put her in the bathroom which is home base with her food and litter box and everything else. We open about one door per day until she's seen the whole house. She's yet to meet the dog and pinball is many doors away.

Taz is a great name for a cat. I've also got a cat named Taz - he will be 18 years old in 2017 and is the inspiration for my user name, Tazmancat. He is an absolute sweetheart and both his Dad and I spoil him rotten. If you look at my avatar you will see him in all his glory. :0)

Smokey looks like a Russian Blue. They are a great breed and very loving. So good of you to give her a home.

I wonder how it would have done if they had used the "Pherocious Phelines" name.

I bought this along with a Bride of Pinbot print about 3 years ago from pinballshirts.com. They were limited editions. The Pherocious Phelines is #12 of 25. My Bride of Pinbot print is #47 of 150 I believe. I don't now if they are available any longer.

This is Sanchez. He's a dirty cat. Had him 13 years now. For some reason every time he gets in the garage, he licks the tires on the Yamaha scooter until the whole thing is slick and glistening with cat slobber. Gross! Just loves him some scooter tire.

Week 3: Smokey submits her application for assistance pin tech...

This is all going very well. Smokey is only my second cat. I really enjoyed our last cat, but was worried that maybe I just got lucky last time around. Smokey is proving to be just as engaging and lovable.
