I’m sorry for your loss. You and Alex were both super lucky to have each other.

#5352 44 days ago

So sorry for multiple losses. That's very hard.

#5353 44 days ago
Quoted from JBtheAVguy:

Sadly, we lost Alex today. Man this is hard. Show Alex some love.
[quoted image]

The "upvote" is love for Alex. It's heartbreaking they don't stick around as long as we do. In my home office I have a bookcase that the top shelf is the special place for the memorials of cats that have left us in past years. Shorty is the first, followed by Rowdy, Hairdo, and Cow. Hopefully many, many years before Biscuit joins them but I'll make room when the time comes. We care for them and provide them comfy homes and love as best we can while they're here, and never forget them once they're gone.

Thank you all for the kind words. I knew this group would understand. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this much grief as I sit here for breakfast realizing Alex isn’t next to me drinking his milk.

Totally feel for you, we've got one on her last legs, she gets as much milk as she wants these days.

The AD family is very sorry for your loss, crazy how these little creatures are such a big part of us.

Yeah we have a little guy who has become so much a part of my mother's life i dread to think what's gonna happen to her when he dies.

He likes to come over at dinner and give you "the tap" where he taps you on the leg and looks up like "what about me" It's great fun when guests get the tap for the first time. Ignore the tap twice and out come the hooks.

Made the photo into a puzzle. Really hard. Took four evenings with three people to solve.
I am sure Milo is watching either a mouse or a bird. Unfortunately no pinball for him in the compost.

Look what the cat dragged in! Thankfully everything is fine. Why am I still living in this place?

Oh my, did the cat manage to kill it??

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

No but my foot did, wasn’t sure what damage it had done done until I checked
my 3 cats. The boy was very engaged, felt like I was saving his life.

Is it poisonous?

#5362 36 days ago
Quoted from Oneironaut:

Is it poisonous?

It’s a coral snake, deadliest snake in Florida. Docile but really bad.

Didn't you guys watch the Crocodile Hunter? Red touching black, safe for Jack. Red touching yellow, kill a fellow.

I thought the saying was Red touch black friend of Jack, Red touch yellow kill a fellow.

Three cats are all safe but if one of them can drag in something like that are they really?

#5366 35 days ago
Quoted from Electrocute:Three cats are all safe but if one of them can drag in something like that are they really?

Are you? Time to keep them inside with outside supervised fieldtrips.

#5367 35 days ago
Quoted from Oneironaut:

Are you? Time to keep them inside with outside supervised fieldtrips.

They’re indoor cats with access to a screened in area. Apparently, that isn’t safe enough. That was my wake up call last night.

Here's 2 of mine. We lost two 16 year olds right before xmas. I surprised the wife with these 2 little hellions at our party. They are attached at the hip and are so much fun. It is nice to have some young energy in the house again. My 20yr old (Stimpy) could take or leave though lol. They're my little no good gophers lol.

My wife and I have been traveling in Costa Rica for a week. Our last day here, we stop at yet another roadside "soda" restaurant, and order way too much food because it's sooooo good. The food arrives, and not 2 minutes later, this fine girl slides up to me and gives me the look. "Ahem.... where is my share of the food good sir"! Of course I gave her all the chicken she cared to eat. The owners of the soda said she's a permanent fixture and gets plenty of love, attention, and food

Casey looks very much like Socks with a little more black on nose and white chin. I don’t know if I can tell the difference without the two pictures and Casey sitting on my lap right now

Two cuties! Are they from the same litter? I am noticing since we got our cats (a black and a tabby like yours) that I see that combination quite a bit. Just find it interesting.

How about adding a ginger to the combo? Hehe. Actually we have 3 pairs. 2 black, 2 tabby, 2 ginger. Each pair has a small and large cat lol. I can’t get all 6 in the same pic as there is one that gets harassed by a few others. They gang up on her and she is tiny(she’s my avatar).

They were in the same cage with a few other kittens. But different parents. Although you couldn't tell as they are so bonded.
