I would like to buy one of these.
Both are classic Sterns with some kind of 'bingo-card' rules.
What's the best player's game and why?
I don't care about the artwork...
Thanks

Like them both, but I'd give the edge to Catacomb since it's got a pretty intricate rule set for the time, plus it's got multiball and backglass bagatelle after each ball played. It's pretty challenging to fill out the toast in the middle of the playfield. I'd say Catacomb if you are skilled player who likes to dig into the rules and Big Game if you want to just have fun shooting the playfield since there is much more real estate and more things to shoot at.
Very difficult choice. Catacomb has a quirky ruleset that takes time to understand but has a lot of strategy to maximize scores. Plus multiball.
Big Game has good rules with trying to get the cards filled out to get killer bonus, lots of drops all over.
I'd rank them pretty equally as very good. Today I voted BG by a nose. Tomorrow? Who knows..
