Where can I find cashbox parts for late 70's Gottlieb's (Royal Flush in this case).

Don't see them on PBR's site. The modern sized ones like on Pinball Life( http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=146 ) are too big.

Does it need to have a top or will just the cash box do?... empty of course

I think I have a RF cash box. I have maybe 4 or 5 boxes, but I can't remember which one belongs in RF. PM me and we can trade email addresses. I'll send you pics.

Thanks for the replies, mostly I was just seeing if there is a source for them. I'll be needing one down the road to finish up my restoration.

I'll check out ebay.

I would like a complete one, but just the box will do in a pinch, but then again ... an empty cigar box can catch coins.

Does anyone have a pic of what its supposed to look like?

Its not so much a picture as it is a size. The earlier Gottlieb boxes (embosed door) were basically the same in design (slide on lid) but the size changed when they went to the recessed door (like on your Royal Flush). Then, some time during the Solid State era (probably system 80), they used a drop in lid that had wings that went down into the box.

The '76 and up cash box that goes in the deep cabinets with short legs is shorter in width and height (than the pre-'76 boxes for the shorter cabinet with 31" legs).

I'm pretty sure that one of these belongs to a RF. When you find out which one, just give me postage and you can have it... If you want it.

One on the left is Bally. One on the right is Williams (SS door). One in the middle could be the correct Gottlieb.

The one in the middle looks like it
