I have carpet in my basement with a decent pile. Anyone know of something I can use to protect the carpet? I don't want furniture sliders. Does anyone know of something with teeth that won't flatten the carpet totally......

    Thanks

Doesn't really have teeth persay, but I use Pin-Butts on mine. it protects the carpet from getting the black on it from the black rubber ones you can get, and they come in cool colors...I have them on games in my living room, on Berber carpet and the carpet does have divots, but they go away after you vacuum a few times...

The best I've seen are pin footies... designed for carpet, work better than the rubber option because they are wider (less divot) and can slide when you need to move a game... yet stay in place while you are playing.

Menards has a foot cover that is the same size as the pin-butts, and is made of the same plastic they use for sliders. Lots cheaper and does the same job. I'm looking for something bigger myself and might try the pin-footies. I am having new carpet installed in the house as we speak.

I just went through this. As you can see in the pic, I have footies, but when a machine is 250lbs, they still put dents in the carpet. I had some extra laminate flooring strips in the house. I sanded the front and sides of the flooring under the front legs for esthetics and so you wouldn't catch your toe playing and it works perfectly. As a matter of fact, since the pins arent sitting on carpet and undercarpet it makes the machines allot more stable. If I were to do it again, I would not put carpet under pinball machines, but this is a doable solution.
