Oof.

I had a restored 1948 United Ron-Dee-Voo in perfect condition. Repro translite and everything. Bought it at a show for $900.

A few years later, I tried to sell it for $500. Got zero responses.

Eventually gave it to a friend. He also tried to sell it at a show for less and had no luck.

With all due respect, $250- $300 if you're lucky.

Quoted from TomKatt:

It's kinda a shame really... Just for the "art" of what those things are, they ought to have a bit more respect and value... But I'm guessing that because they take up so much space (and really don't offer much entertainment), they're barely worth a used EM...

(added pictures)

Exactly why I got rid of it. Of the 12 pins I had at the time, it got zero plays.

Beautiful to look at, but almost no fun factor. Took up the space of another machine that I wanted.

Quoted from Hop-Pac:

We'll it seems OP has taken everyone's advice into consideration and lowered his asking price. Now only 9k

I swear I thought you were joking until I clicked on his ad.

Frank... No one is trying to mislead you.

Unsolicited advice....Keep it as the sentimental value far outweighs it's actual monetary value.
