The photo helps. And from here it looks like something is wonky.

If you compare against the schematic you can see that the blue-white-red wire (1) comes into the top of the frame to the P4E switch. Check.
On the other side of the P4E switch the orange-white-red wire (2) leaves the other side of the P4E switch. Check.
And further down you can see the brown-white-red (3) wire leaves one side of the P3E switch. Check.

However,
- the orange-red-white wire (2) should go to the other side of the P3E switch.
- the P3E switch appears to have its solder lugs shorted together.
- that blue jumper wire goes somewhere it probably shouldn't. It should maybe go to the orange-white-red (2) wire on switch P4E instead?

If the P3E switch is really shorted, it seems that the player 1 score reels might not reset properly.
