Hi pinsiders
Do You have a / do You know of a "English Manual Capersville" ?
Here: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=431 they show a German Manual. I did a (big) "Google Search" - no "English Manual" to be found ...

Here: http://mirror2.ipdb.org/files/431/Bally_1966_Capersville_German_Operating_Manual_no_schematics.pdf ->
(((I can read German))) -> page-2, on the "righthandside Page", below the middle, starting with "Spielablauf" , this half page (down to the bottom) I have translated -

does "One of You (YOU ?) volunteer to put my "crummy translation" into a "proper English Manual" ?
Is there a demand for "German Manual translated back into English" ? - Would / IS such a translation "needed" / "useful" ?
I did translate about 15 % of the German text - is it WORTH to translate the hole text ?
Please write, Greetings Rolf

That mentioned (half page), my "crummy English": "Spielablauf, Sequence of play":

Sequence of play

Ready to play
a) All balls (3) are either in the trough or on the playfield.
b) The Anti-Cheat-Relay has fallen (no illumination).

Throw-in a Coin or press Replay-Button (if there are replays on the counter).
1. The Coin-Relay pulls and toggles the Start-Relay. The Start-Relay keeps-on pulling until the "Switch above cam / tappet 10 on Score-Motor" opens, after the reset of the Ball-Count-Unit.

2. The Start-Relay toggles the Anti-Cheat-Relay. This locks-in and makes connection - through its own contact and the "mounted in series, Normally-Closed Switches (4)": Anti-Cheat- / Tilt-Switches.

3. The Start-Relay starts the Score-Motor, locks-in the Game-Over-Relay and activates the 3 Reset-Relays.

4. The 3 Reset-Relays do reset the Score-Reels through switches "2"and "11" on the Score-Motor. Also the Extra-Bonus-Counter will be reset through switch "2"on Score-Motor. Reset-Relay-Number-3 causes the reset of the "Name-Unit.

Hi gilles89
when we do an ipdb-search https://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?mfgid=412&yr=1966-71&pl=4&sortby=date&searchtype=advanced - we can see how Bally started to do "English Manuals" --- the "Fireball" https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=852 and the "Little Joe" https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1460 are examples of "nice English manuals".

The "German Manuals" of "Capersville" https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=431 and "The Wiggler" https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=2777 are funny, beautyful documents.
"Bob Graham" did a good document - here https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=431 scroll down almost to the bottom of the page - then click on the "Bob Graham document" - You open an Word-Document.

I volunteered to help to do "funny, beautyful document - an translation of the german document". I am "german speaking" - text I write in english always is a bit crummy - so I asked for an (native) english speaking person to "put my crummy english into proper english". Nobody volunteered - so I do not do "my part of the work".

IF YOU have an problem with the functions of Capersville: Start a new topic in EM-Tech https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/forum/tech-em - ask and "me and other pinsiders (?)" will help on Your problems. Greetings Rolf
