Trying to help fix a friend's pinball magic. The Game effectively has a patterned display that changes slightly in the same fashion, then resets. From power-on LED1 winks about every 2 seconds as it reset as I can hear it from the hum. Led2 is locked solidly on.

I've burnt news ROMs for U1H, U1L, U2L,U2H using 27c4001 ICs (the U2 roms were masked and I couldn't get them to verify on my programmer. The machine is doing the same thing on either original or burnt ROMs.

The power is fine, all LEDs are lit, and voltages read good.

I presume if the battery backup SRAM was dead the machine would still do something as according to this url http://gamearchive.askey.org/Pinball/Manufacturers/Capcom/Service_Bulletins/BUL10.html the machine can identfy bad SRAM and RAM.

I've also uploaded a short video to YouTube at

Thanks for any assistance / suggestions!!
