Quoted from herg:

There have been some recent changes regarding LED OCD. If you do some investigation, it's not really a secret. It's just not really my place to announce it. Overall, I think it's good news on the path toward better availability of kits.

Clicking on the store link in the LEDOCD website redirects to Comet Pinball now. Is there an announcement coming soon?

Weird. I know nothing about to make these, but what makes Capcom so much more difficult to manufacturer than the others? The demand is obviously there. They are essential for Capcom because if you use LEDs the game flickers like crazy.

The matrix is 2x the size of BLY/WMS - inserts and GI are individually controllable (128 controllable lamps).

Quoted from TomDK:

I do not like LED in pinballs which came not out of the factory with LED.Point.
BUT ... I bought last week a AB with LED OCD and some LED on some places. The pre-owner took really care not to make it blingbling. Looks great.

Pinball Magic looks amazing with LEDOCD - brighter than incandescents and more color pop on the inserts. The nice thing about the LEDOCD board is that you can tweak the brightness of each bulb if you wish.

I try to illuminate as much as possible without going rainbowpuke. All of my GI is "sunlight" (a white between warm and cool) and I illuminated the posts, pop bumper and ramps with a little blue glow.

2smd or 1 smd bulbs?

2 SMD - brightness is adjustable on the board if anything is too bright.
