    Hello all
Ordered this as part of a cap kit for my Pax Man fron yorktown via eBay. Can anyone advise correct polarity as I cannot. May have to blow it up a bit. Defective labeling??

    Thanks fellas

The "pinched" end (which is closest to your fingers) is the positive end.

I have never seen one marked like that - rather ambiguous. What brand is it?

For today's axial electrolytic - the negative is soldered to the case (right side in your photo) and the indented end is positive.

Thank you fellas. I am grateful.

I did figure out why the labeling is so ambiguous. The label is the wrong type, that label is actually intended for a radial style cap and not an axial.

That would explain it. Thank you GPE
