Hi guys,
wondering what next steps to take when trying to update the code on my newly acquired TFLE. I formatted my USB drives to FAT32 (4GB and 16GB) Drives and put the 1.8 code on the key. This is the only file on both keys. I go through the steps by putting the dip switch to position 8, hitting the reset button and then inserting the USB key. I then follow the instructions on the DMD and when I choose "update code" I get the insert USB key message and then nothing happens. Wondering if my drives are too big? I don't hear a beepo, I don't see the USB drive light flashing..nada....

Any help would be appreciated.

the 250 MB stick lights up but again the board refuses to read the USD. Should I format FAT instead of FAT32?

Turns out it was a bad board. Stern had to fix. $320
